I installed an paid for the app because I had 8000+ images that slowed down my site. The app promised from 30% or more reduction but did not - less than 1% on each image is simply not worth paying for. Also I send a message to company before buying but they never answered. The app is too simple, the price is far too high compared to the simplicity of the app and the effect meaning reduction of size is not in any way the percent reduction they state it will do. Better use your money somewhere else.

Our app uses best-in-class compression algorithms. But unfortunately, our app can't compress your images more without significant quality loss. If we compress your photos further, they will look blurry and unprofessional. If you sell posters, you should be very careful with image quality because your images are one of the most critical assets of your store.
URLs can contain only English letters. However, if you need to convert the danish letters æøå to other English letters, we can help you with that. Just let us know how you would like to proceed, and we will be happy to help you!

Changed my Google PageSpeed from 54% to 59%. Was hoping for better speed but app was easy to use.
It's fast and easy, I had 2407 images in my website ( http://www.entornobano.com ) and he did the job in aprox 1 hour.
This is a good app, the price is reasonable to compress your pictures and the customer support responds back quickly. My only issue with the app is that it did not automatically compress images if you resized them and it doesnt allow you to edit or resize the image in the app only compress.
So far, love love love this app. Very easy to use and excellent price , plus removing the guess work and headache is a blessing
For some theme like mine (Fastor) banners are stored in Shopify Files (Shopify - Settings - Files). So that's why "It is currently impossible to optimize them with this app because Shopify doesn't give access to this type of files to any apps."
This is what the developer sent me by email after I rated them 1 star cause some of my pictures werent optimized automatically as I expected. Hopefuly support was super nice and fixed some of my pictures manually.
Not very much helpfull, as I still get warnings that some images are not optimized

We use Image Optimizer at Age of Reason Studios to get the most out of our fashion and homeware website. It seems to really do the trick, compressing product images so that the site runs faster.
Very quick to install and very simple workflow/payment process. They provide a review page after the compression is complete to verify (or revert) every image that was compressed. From what I can tell the compression was lossless with 10-30% improvement in image sizes. This is a quick win in for any store looking to optimize their UX/SEO efforts instantly.
