AWIO Improved Contact Form

Loving it so far, but is it able to insert a file upload? Customers need to send me picture references of their orders and I'm having trouble finding an app that will insert it into my contact form without costing a ton each month. Other than that it's a great tool!

I very happy with this app and the support of this app. I'm new and to start my store with free version for this app. I encounter problem in increase the space size of field in my contact form. Dan Grossman patiently reply and answer my question in 5 email. Finally the problem is solve. My experience here is if can give a trust, he will try to solve problem for you if he can.

I like this app. But how can I know the url of a secondary contact form I created?
Also it would be good to have the possibility to add a scrollable list, if we want to ask question to people and know more about them.

I've put the Contact Form button in all four positions and it doesnt appear anywhere on my Shopify store, neither left up left down right down nor right up.

great so far, but i dont see any spam filter to captcha. So i dont know why everyone is saying download this to block the @mail.ru spam rubbish.

Great app, it does what it supposed to do and is very user friendly. It's easy to figure out what and where you should do.

Please be aware of using this app!!! I have had it installed on my site for months, but recently I've had some irate customers leaving 1 star reviews. It turns out that this app has not been working and I have not been receiving customer emails. This is absolutely unacceptable! I hate to think how many customers I have lost because I installed this!!!

This is one of the best, if not, the best contact form apps that I've used. Very easy to set up and works like a charm!

Full review: The contact form is easy to use and setup. The app starts at free and we were able to use this tier despite having a pretty good number of contacts per week. The app threads email in Gmail as one thread despite the unique number assigned to each case. I brought this issue to Dan (the owner and dev) after it was brought to me by the customer service team. Dan's first reply was extremely short and unhelpful. As I pushed further Dan was slightly kinder still disregarding the issue as not an issue saying it was Google's fault.

Easy, simple, minimalistic and great designs and colors. I recommend for anyone looking for cheap and simple contact forms builder.

Best contact form for new beginner

Not having a good support. Asking how to resize my own store pop up form, they tell me can't changed the whole 70.000 other forms only for my benefit. Not solving problem, can't resize the size of the pop up form.

Yes I do love my new contact form. It was easy to set up so I have a multi page tab and also a contact page that is in the same theme as the rest of the site. Don't know how Dan did it but it's a Beauty, Bonza, Ripper! (that's Aussie slang for fanatastic)

FALSE ADVERTISING. The most annoying thing ever is when something is promoted as being free, but you can't even use it unless you upgrade to a paid plan.

Sure, you can download it and install it on the store. You can create a form and save it. But you can't actually publish it on your site until you upgrade and pay. THIS ISN'T FREE!

I was getting 30+ [SPAM] email per day from the contact form built into my shopify website.
Using this Improved Contact Form reduced that to zero.

Love this app. It is odd that Shopify doesn't automatically have all of these features built in.

Looks good on the face of it but not very functional from the customers perspective. The first problem I noticed is that when I created a top bar so that I don't annoy the customer, the bar can be set to always show up or only show once per visit.

The problem is that if you only want it to show up once, it makes sense that it should remain on-screen until the customer closes it. However, the bar shows up on the first page but as soon as the user clicks on a new page the bar never comes back. The issue here is that most customers are not going to blindly give you their email address. They will likely want to navigate your website for a little bit before they decided to share any information with you but the bar is already gone, so they will not have that option. Additionally, it's not clear what "once per visit" actually means. I closed my browser several times to test but I couldn't get the bar to come back up. I contacted support and they said I should clear my browser history and cookies. What kind of ridiculous response is that? Do they believe a customer is going to know or care to do that? It's just a missed opportunity.

If you opt to leave the bar displayed all the time, it just gets in the way. If you're on a desktop, it isn't annoying but if you're using a mobile device, it takes up too much screen real estate. Even more annoying, if you close it, it opens right back up when you go to another page. It should know that the customer doesn't want to see it again and stop displaying for that session. Now, here's the worst part of it; if the customer gives up and finally submits and email address, the damn thing shows up again once you navigate to a new screen. It can't distinguish a new customer from an existing customer even if that customer is in the same session. This is unforgivable. Using the paid version did not change any of these flaws.

Really easy to use and enhances the built-in contact form. I find it odd Shopify doesn't already include all of these features.
