we migrated from a paid livechat to save funds. so far it works for what we need, primarily a B2B busienss. The addition of the unified inbox assists greatly so that one person can manage the inboxes for all stores. It would be great if there was an automatic assignemnt feature so that only one perosn got notifications rather than all the users. the assigned user could then assign it to another if necessary.

works great ... I would like to learn more about it and find a way to do a pop-up notice to more easily respond. I think there should be a pop-up window option on a desktop/laptop or, at minimum, a popup window/notification bubble or something on the dashboard to indicate a new message and allow for a more timely, possibly live customer interaction.
Easy for customers to get answers they would need.
Good App that links well to order enquiry status. With a bit more control over the position and size of the widget I would have given 5 stars
Good thus far..... it warns you of spam so even better
It's my first time using this app. It works great except it wasn't clearly marked well in my inbox. It says it's from a "No reply" address. Lucky I didn't just send it to junk. It was fortunate this morning that I checked my customer list and seen a new customer that didn't purchase. He subscribed only. Then looking further I seen that he had sent me a message. Thats when I rechecked my inbox and found the massage. " Message from customer" and customer's name needs to stand out more. Having said that. It's great knowing people can reach me so easily. Thank you. :-)
Interaction with customers may need a more friendly respond
I love using Shopify. It makes it easy to run a successful business. I only wish there was a better Customer Service option to speak with a real person when issues arrise.
The App is almost perfect. One thing I don't like is, that the user has give the Name and E-Mail before a conversation is possible. I can see the advantages.
But not everybody would like to give the name. So we have much less Chat conversions then we had with Tawk.to.
It would be nice to have a setting, where this can be enabled or disabled.
