Shopify make you log out automatically after a while, for security reasons I assume, even if you use is continiously. BUT they don't let you know you've been logged out. No notification or email. So you just go on with your day thinking its just noone atm that wants to chat. Then after a few days you get angry emails from customer who doesn't get a respsonse in the chat. Because shopify logged you out. Perfect.
Very easy to use. I never miss a message from my customers
It works great on phone or laptop. It is an easy way to communicate with customers.
I like that it allows video files, wish it were able to be longer than 59 seconds, but still a good feature!
love that it replies back to client's questions with full details of service and suggestion. its quick and fast like a human mind.
Works well as a messaging service EXCEPT from the security of the app and zero protection from scammers and fake email use. Spammers can use fake emails to send messages and leave you endless spam and there is no way to stop them, leaving you sifting through spam to find your genuine customers.
The app needs an email verification system or an IP blocking capability to make it more secure. Because of this huge flaw, I give it a 1 star review.

2. AI assistance added - reduces turnaround time in live conversation setting
3. Used effectively this type of customer is usually ready to buy.
it save our lives, .. customer message us with questions about our web site and found problem and fixed it right away, other wise we would have lose $$$$ of sales.
Need the ability for the app to actually not message on the phone when the hours are set to off or unavailable.

In the mean time, you could try snoozing notifications on your device during certain hours. On iOS this is set under the "Focus" settings (i.e. you can silence only the Inbox app during specified hours). On Android this should be called "notification snoozing".

I love this app. The inbox app has been so helpful to my website. It automatically provides answers to customers and gives suggestions. It is an added asset indeed and provides a unique feature.
