Super simple app that gets the job of live communication done. However it does not offer any scheduling options so you need to be available 24/7 and it has an non remove-able message about leaving your phone number for a text message reply. I don't want customers having my personal cell number so un-installing this app.

Hello Five and Diamond, thank you for your review and feedback! I can address these concerns for you, as they are understandable. The ability to set hours is available only on IOS at this time, but is coming for Android soon. I agree, it's not easy being available 24/7!

Your personal cell phone number will not be shown. If the buyer leaves a phone number, you can reply directly from within Shopify Ping. The buyer will be sent a text message to the number they left from a randomized phone number that Shopify Chat provides - not your own cell phone number. The buyer can stop receiving messages by texting "stop" or by deleting the conversation.

We would love to see you re-installing the app if this information helps. Just keep it updated and you can benefit from scheduling hours when that feature is released.

Het lukt best goed om te communiceren met de Shopify inbox maar de app is soms wel wat traag. Het duurt even voor deze open gaat.

easy to chat with customers on a desktop computer, tablet, or phone. Im able to respond to customers when im not at the office.

Works fine with shopify theme! Could have more design settings. For example other type of chat icons.

The app works well and does as it should for an easy online chat app. I wish that you could attach images in the chat to better assist customers, I have to ask them to email me for that. I would also like it if I could send more than one link at a time and have it popup as a preview window. Lastly, there are issues with the shopify inbox on my computer communicating to the shopify inbox app on the cell phone. I will read a message and mark it closed yet I still have the notification on my app and no unread messages in the "open" section. Just a small glitch. Notifications are persistent and not as customizable as they should be. Could be slightly improved and be really wonderful!

Love only dealing with one location for all our messages! Definitely makes keeping track of all the inboxes soo much easier!!!

Excellent platform to see customer messages, however these is need to improve showing images/pictures in app along with message.

Agreed that allowing photos to be sent and received would be a great feature to have. It is a big request from many merchants including yourself.

Customer states: Your web chat window (at least on my system) can't be resized or relocated and it blocks much of the page... I will need to close it in order to see if I can now add that product to my cart.

Thank you for taking the time and sharing this feedback with us. If the customer is using a tablet or phone, then the chat widget could be blocking their cart. However, since the chat can resume the conversation, they can close the chat to complete actions in the store.

On the other hand, if the chat is blocking the product or cart page on the desktop, then you can also adjust the position of the chat widget through the Appearance settings (https://bit.ly/3pFKhsn) on Shopify Inbox. If you need help with this, then we'd be happy to further assist you through live chat, email, or callback. Shopify inbox is great with seamless integration with Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct Message, however, customers are not able to send images from the website live chat, which is something essential for customers to be able to send images. Extra options and flexibility shall come to Instant answers, like Check Orders, Edit Orders, Edit Shipping Address.
Track my order also needs some flexibility to be able to change the link from Thank You page to Order Tracking page, which it is the information customers usually looking for. We hope to have Inbox with some great updates very soon. Abdelaal

Handy, nicer to have a native alternative to Intercom. The sync between Facebook seems to be intermittent as not all messages show up and if someone replies to a customer message within Facebook, it doesn't show up in Inbox.
