Doesn't appear to be any way to set availability on IOS either, and that is very frustrating. Customers are reaching out at all times of the night we are not able to answer at those times.

On IOS, you can set chat availability in your app settings, but the Android version does not have this feature yet. We are working on adding more options and features in the near future, so definitely keep your app up to date!

So far, so good. The application has worked great and right after setting it up I already had multiple messages. Really think it helps inform customers of our product and probably will convert to sales.
pas mal
It works really well, but it was a little tricky to work out why multiple staff were getting notifications. I worked out it's actually set via Staff Permissions in Shopify, so all good now.
Easy to use. Love it :)
Sham was such a a great service rep all my answers were all taken care of great app i got a $130 sale within 1 hour of answering a question through chat two thumbs up

This app is not elegant. Would require you keep someone on staff 24/7.
You lose the option to be able send necessary items like return shipping labels, because PDF is not a valid attachment. Prospects ask anything that pop's in their head. AND , I receive a notice of request in my email but can't respond without going into an app. Does not work on my phone, because I don't access full shopify on my phone when I'm out of the office. NOR do I want to be available 24/7 !

That being said, we understand that you don't want to be available 24/7 and you don't want to access Shopify on your phone. In this case, you may find the third-party app, Tidio - Live Chat & Chatbots (https://bit.ly/3GDh5Ku), more suitable for your needs. Tidio offers both live chat and chatbots, so you can use the app in the office and the chatbots can answer the more common questions when you're out of the office. Their app also integrates with mailing services, such as Mailchimp and Klaviyo, if that's something you're looking for. Cheers. -Elias, Shopify Support
Je l'ai installé hier et déjà beaucoup de contact avec ma (future) clientèle. Très contente de l'impacte. Je dois encore régler quelques petites choses, installer l'application sur mon téléphone et j'espère que tout ira bien. Quelques lenteurs hier soir, mais peut-être une exception. Merci !
