Works well, however being tied to Ping and no translation strings available, this is still in beta. Let's wait few months.

Wanted to let you know that now the Chat widget and welcome message are now automatically translated to appear in the same language as your storefront. Hope that helps make Shopify Chat more effective for you.

It blocks the whole page and does not let the visitor exit. If they reload the page, it loads back up. This is a horrible experience.
got told by support to change the colour and icon when this is not the issue, (tried anyway)

If it doesn't occur in this theme, it is a theme error in your live theme. Please reach out to our live support for more assistance!

es una buena aplicacion, pero seria mejor su directamente te enviara respuesta a whatsapp mas que al correo cuando uno no responde de inmediato. se hace mas facir la comunicacion por whatsapp creo. ademas seria bueno que uno pudiese ponerle un timbre exagerado e insistente al telefono cuando llegan mensajes por aqui, se pierde facilmente el momento online con el cliente.

I like this app! It gives me an opportunity to connect with my customers when they are actively browsing my website. I haven't come across any issues using the app. I like that I can use it on my desktop as well as on my mobile.

Annoying.
Every time there is a message it emails ALL admin personel.
Sure you can turn it off for everyone but you can't pick who gets the messages. So all or nothing. Chat support has yet to get back to me.

My biggest problem with this app is that you cannot turn it off after hours. You will have customers messaging you at all hours of the night. Only a small percentage of chat customers convert. Due to the high volume of messages I have been receiving 24 hours a day, I decided to remove the chat from my website. However, when I removed the app properly, the Chat icon did not disappear from the front of my website. I contacted Shopify (because it is their app) and they tried to pawn me off on my Theme developers. Now I have customers trying to use a chat that does not work, resulting in ugly emails. Follow up 11/11/20:
This Chat icon is still on my site. Shopify support keeps telling me they removed it, but the icon is still there (only it does not work). We have cleared our cache repeatedly from several different computers, and icon is present. This is the worst customer service.
