inkFrog for eBay

This is the only app you'll need if you use eBay or are interested selling on eBay. It took us minutes to get over 600 products from our Shopify store on to eBay. All orders received via eBay show up in Shopify. The integration between this app and Shopify is fantastic! LOVE IT

I used to think this app was pretty good, but lately, I keep having problems syncing my inventory. For example, something will sell on eBay, say, yesterday, and today, the inventory still hasn't synced with my Shopify store. Also, when I contact customer support, it seems like they just manually update it, but don't fix the root of the problem. They do not care. All they say, when I ask why it takes so long to sync (sometimes 24 hours later, the inventory still has not synced), they just say, Sorry there was a delay. Support has become terrible. If I was okay with manually updating everything myself, I wouldn't bother contacting them.
Right now, every time I sell something on eBay, I have to make sure that the inventory levels are synced. Furthermore, when I import products, sometimes there are problems where the import gets "stuck" and all the time you spent saving the settings for each listing will be lost. Very irritating and time-wasting.

At first, the software was a bit overwhelming because I was not used to it. There is def a learning curve, and one of the biggest hurdles is just learning to trust it. When there are problems, the customer service team seems to be on call 24 hours a day. I have rarely had a question go 5 minutes without being handled. When it has been a problem on their end, they take the reigns, figure out the problem, and sort it out, FAST. Great team over there. I have been using it for 5 months, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great web-based listing software for connecting to Shopify.

I opted for inkFrog so that I could link my Shopify to Ebay and prevent over and under selling. First impressions were that it is rather complicated and even though I looked and fiddled about with the trial I couldnt really get my head around it. At this point as I had over 500 existing Ebay listings to link to my store , I booked a one to one meeting and subscribed to the unlimited account and finally started to get my head around it.
I have been working hard to understand how the system operates and consider how the settings function. I neednt have worried though as I have used support from the inkFrog team a few times now and after following their instructions have been able to get my ebay listings all linked up and can now get on with creating new listings from Shopify to Ebay using inkFrog.
The support has been very prompt taking about 15 minutes for a response and any issues have been sorted immediately.
It is a complex tool but seems able to do pretty much anything you need it to. I need to keep stock levels across 3 outlets synchronised and its great for that.
In summary if you take your time to master it and dont be shy of asking for help from support it will prove to be a great tool for both listing and linking products. Five stars from me.

Fantastic Ebay Integration and GREAT Customer Service Thanks InkFrog

I've been using inkfrog for nearly 2 years now and for the most part it's been really good. It generally keeps the inventory synced up regularly and the support staff are fast to assist (usually have issues resolved in 12 hours or so) however the software can be terribly unreliable when it comes to syncing orders from ebay to shopify which is a real pain. It results in a lot of lost time have to double check that everything is synced up and occasionally results in orders not being sent out when they should. The staff have done their best to assist but have advised me it's not something that will be fixed as it occurs for a multitude of reasons.

EDIT: Downgraded to 1 star due to the software becoming increasingly worse and costing our business money and reputation.

Tried to persevere with this app for a long time. Multiple order creation, inconsistent synchronisation, and poor service are the main issues. Final issue was creation of 119 false orders affecting stock, and they were unwilling to help reverse. Advise trying another provider before you get too deep and it is hard to change.
