Just switched our platform over to Shopify and were recommended Intuitive and could not be more pleased. Best of all is real support: Humans who understand their product and are willing to spend time on a video call helping you set it up to your requirements. Plus pretty thorough documentation.
Dimensions for our product range varies widely, so dimensional shipping charges are a significant factor in our operations. Intuitive Shipping has helped us change from using markup and weight adjustment hacks to approximate our shipping charges, to proper dimensional shipping charges.
Also, the fact that Intuitive Shipping can now sync dimensional data from Shopify metafields makes product data maintenance much easier. Product data can be maintained independently in one place, and your shipping configuration in Intuitive Shipping.
Configuration can be complex, but that necessarily comes with the flexibility that the app provides.
