Great subscription app! Highly recommend. At first, it seemed like customization options were limited, but once I reached out to the team, they were able to fully tailor the subscription box to my preferences. Abby was especially helpful throughout the process—she stayed persistent, never giving up, and always working towards a solution. In the end, we made it work, and now it perfectly matches the theme of my store!
If you’re looking for a solid (and free) subscription app, this is the one!
I highly recommend Joy Subscription App for Shopify! The product subscription feature is simple to set up and integrates seamlessly with my store's checkout process. It offers great customization for different product needs, making it easy to manage subscriptions. The customer service is exceptional—responsive, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions. This plugin has been a great way to boost recurring revenue and improve customer retention. If you're looking for a subscription solution, this plugin is definitely worth it!
The app is a bit underdeveloped and needs some extra features and some tinkering but the team makes it easier and less frustrating to navigate through it. Still it is very good and i still use it.

I've found setting up my subscriptions on Joy very straight forward and the support I received from Abby & Anivia (technician) was great, they were helpful, quick and talked me through the changes required. Unfortunately my current payment gateway isn't compatible with Joy at the moment so I am going to look at other payment gateway options in the hope I can use Joy on my shop soon.
The question is: How do you group subscription products and place the link on the menu for easy access to customers? No one could offer a reliable simple answer. Yes, you could generate a "checkout link?" What good is that for? Checkout??? As a customer, I would like to be able to see the subscription products and select what I want - especially in a situation where the company has a wide variety of products. Now, the product itself is good. I like the feel. However for a company with a ton of products there needs to be a way to make just the subscription products easily accessible to customers and that includes linking it to the website menu. Otherwise, all that good work is just for naught. Sorry guys, I'm not happy to have wasted so much time setting this thing up only to realize that I couldn't group the subscription products and link them to my website menu. The app execution is good... also good for product subscription-only sites. As for a mix-use site with a lot of products, the customer-facing aspect of the app needs re-evaluation. If my assessment is misleading please let me know so I can update my review. After all, the product is free. Plus, I wouldn't want to undermine your efforts and the energy you invested to create the app.
