Katana Inventory Management

We're using this to organize and manage inventory for skincare. It seems to do most of everything we want it to!

I use Katana to manage workflow and inventory for my manufacturing business. We make products in-house, and managing production and inventory on Shopify alone was a nightmare. We started using Katana about 6 months ago, and we couldn't live without it now.

It only takes seconds to process orders, my factory team has their manufacturing orders organised and we know exactly what is in stock and what is being manufactured.

Seamlessly integrated into our 2 Shopify stores with data being synced instantly. Very easy to use, and understand, and great customer service as well. Not too mention it's a great price point for the size company we currently are!

We are a custom t-shirt printer and katana gave us the ability to connect with multiple shopify accounts so our customers can seamlessly sell and import orders to us to produce for them. Katana is the puzzle piece we were missing. We have tried 5-6 other apps before and katana has it all. Our full production staff produces with clarity and speed. Katana wins.

We have multiple shopify stores (for language/currency reasons). Additionally, we have a third-party billing system for our wholesale. We need to keep our inventory in synch across all of them. Katana works out of the box for the shopify part, and using its API we are able to connect the wholesale part as well.

Beyond that, we augmented Katana's reporting capabilities using one of the 3rd party apps they partner with to connect their data to a PowerBI front-end. The data model is straight forward, so developing the queries was intuitive.

All in all, Katana is a great solution for inventory management and manufacturing process control as is, and flexible/extendible if you need to add more sophisticated use cases.

Katana has saved my business! The level of detail and ease of entering and tracking raw materials has allowed us to saved money and strategically plan for sales and make purchase orders when necessary. We've been using Katana for a few months and it has massively improved our operations process. It has a number of great features which we couldn't find on other platforms; things like batch tracking and the shop floor app to track assembly times have really simplified what were previously complex processes at times for us. Katana has been a great investment in taking control of our stocks. We have now done away with spreadsheets and have all the info in one place. It has made planning for the day and week far more productive. Seamless integration with Shopify takes away a tremendous amount of duplication. Great technical support too. Would highly recommend
