Kit is an essential app for anyone NEW to Shopify, ECom and Marketing. As great as it is, it's not perfect though.

Pros: Kit creates engaging facebook and instagram ads for your store. This is great for someone who is new to Social Media Marketing as it takes a lot of the guesswork out for you. They offer extremely helpful customer service. This is my second Shopify store and they’ve made the transition seamless. The targeting that Kit does will leads to sales (even if you aren’t entirely sure how they’re targeting). This is a pro and a con so because helps get your fb pixel ready for LLAs but with you not knowing the target audience it’s selecting, it could lead to you having difficulties when you’re trying to do Ads on your own.

Cons: There aren’t many cons to Kit honestly. The few I’ve noticed are as soon as you submit an ad, you’ll see 10-30 (one time I had 40+) “visitors” live on your site, all from Menlo Park, CA. This can throw things off when it comes to conversion rates for your store. Another one is that they only ask where your target demographic is located at and you’ll ONLY target that Country. Also, I’m trying to go in and edit the targeting that Kit does and I haven’t been able to. Even though what they’re targeting has lead to sales, it would be great to go in and customize the target, especially if you’re a super niche store. It’s getting me sales though so I really can’t complain!

Other than those few cons, Kit is essential for anyone NEW to Shopify or Marketing. It will help with your first initial sales, retargeting and email marketing. It gives you a few less things to worry so that you can focus on building your store!

As a new e-Prenuer learning can eat up a lot of time. I spend my time on product development and brand recognition; Kit does the Facebook and Instagram. Kit tech support has been there through everything. Setting up a second eCommerce store came with challenges I couldn't have plowed through without them.

Pretty cool app. Helps save time and money.

Sometimes it does get annoying as its not flexible and lacks choices but I guess that will improve with time.

Support is a joke, I have messaged them many times to have all old products removed from their system, but they keep telling me that its there for good. Well that's not good enough.
Kit also is the biggest issue setting up. Don't even bother trying to if you arent experienced.
Kit keeps making ads and posts with duplicate products, it doesn't use your priority products like it is supposed to.
Dan at support doesn't really care about his job, he is about as helpful as a blown lightbulb.
I wish Kit was all it was hyped up to be, but sadly it falls flat.

I am trying install KIT on my Shopify site. I have allowed KIT to connect facebook. I get a message from KIT saying that I still need to accept Facebook, yet when I click on the link and go to Facebook it says "the link expired". Cannot get any support. THIS IS HOPELESS

Not sure what to make of this thing just yet. As some of the others have said, something is really fishy with the ads. Facebook doesn't even finish reviewing them before there is a stream of traffic to the site and all from one spot in California. Doesn't make sense. Also, the ads do absolutely nothing for your store. We have experienced 0 ROI for any ads made with Kit. Not to mention, all the skills this thing is supposed to have don't seem to work. We've not gotten one notification, no texts, no updates, no email marketing suggestions, nothing. The only thing this app seems to do is post useless FB and Instagram ads that cost money and initiate zero business. We have a request into support to find out why we aren't able to utilize any of the other skills supposedly built into this thing. If they can help and it starts doing something other than costing us money, we will update this review. Until then, don't bother. The skills don't seem to work and you can get better return on your ads yourself. This thing appears to be useless.

I like this app, most valuable feature for me is the retargeting campaigns.

I really wanted to like this app. I like the ads Kit creates and the budget options but the targeting was way off and it's become a wasted ad spend. My target market is women's fashions for young women which is what I selected at account creation and the vast majority of visitors were middle aged and older men who clicked off almost immediately. I've been using Kit's dynamic retargeting but getting the same results which makes sense if the initial visitors weren't the target customer. I've wasted alot of my ad budget with Kit. The ads I wrote myself have done better. Unfortunately cs didn't have any answers so I am going to look for a new app.

Great app. Keeps me on my toes. Especially when, as much as there is to manage, Kit reminds me when there is a move that might help sales

I would definitely recommend this app!
