On-Site Messaging is easy and simple to integrate. The app provides customized messaging ranging from banners promoting your partnership with Klarna and availability of payment options, to personalized promotions on product or cart pages. Consumers are not always aware of the different payment plans available to them before reaching checkout. To get Klarna active on your store, follow these 3 steps:

  1. Sign up for Klarna API credentials at us.portal.klarna.com/signup

  2. Complete the Shopify Klarna Payments Installation Wizard Provided when you sign up for Klarna API credentials.

  3. Enter your Klarna API credentials in your Shopify admin under Alternative Payment Methods & you're finished! (Please make sure the Installation Wizard was successful prior to activating the Klarna payment method in your store).

Straightforward to use and helpful support team. Could do with a smaller square shaped placement for the homepage, as the ones currently available are too big.

Thank you for this review and feedback Tovi Sorga. Klarna's On-site messaging team has an enhancement on their roadmap (not for this month, but sometime this year) to provide homepage placements using autoxauto size, so that merchants will be able to place those placements in any containers and the size will adjust.

Urns For Angels

The Klarna team are really helpful. Sometimes the messaging app can't place the messaging exactly where you want it, but the team do whatever they can to get it right for you. So five stars for the team. Go team.
