I got a nasty shock when these guys billed me $700 for annual fees. Not reminders or notifications. When installed the app over a year ago our mailing list was much smaller. At least send a reminder since bills are not sent via Shopify. And to top it off our emails were not being sent because something changed and our domain wasn't verified so guess what? We'd been missing out sending emails to customers. Apps are meant to make the life of small businesses easier, not make them harder. We've found better options. Now we just need wait till our annual fee runs out. Never again!

Klaviyo is AMAZING! I was previously using Mail Chimp, but I love Klaviyo because I can collect as many different "custom properties" as I want and then use them to trigger different email flows. I can collect users' favorite color and then embed the answer in an email dynamically. I also use the feature to show content to users based on their activity. For example, I can show a special coupon to returning customer but not to new people. It's really robust and gives you infinite options. The user interface is straightforward and there is lots of great tutorials online. I would recommend this over any other email platform!

If I could give zero starts, I would. It's an amazing app, but they want to control your email domain and the way you email your clients. Not very versatile. They steel your money very easily with their automatic upgrades as well.

Customer service is TERRIBLE! Also, Beware if you use their SMS, you are putting your company at compliance risk. This last issue is our final straw with them. They locked (disabled) our account automatically for uploading a list of email addresses that were legally collected from an event we were involved with. So if you don't mind risking your account being shut down until one of their "customer service" reps gets to your ticket within a few days, by all means give them a try. If you want to have a reliable e-mail service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Support here is the worst. We are trying to connect to Klaviyo our other shop for another country and have contacted Klaviyo at least 10 times since 2 weeks. All we get are generic replies and it seems nobody is reading our mails or helping us!!! The problem is this app haa a bug. After we try to connect another user it sends a link that is already expired the mment we click on it to confirm. Last week we waited 5 days to get another generic reply and see no interest in them actually checking the problem and helping us. This is the worst support we have experienced here on Shopify!
