Klaviyo: Email Marketing & SMS

Unfortunately, we can’t recommend Klaviyo for several reasons. Basically, you constantly get the impression that their only goal is to push customers into a higher plan and keep them there.

1. Many fake profiles are created that inflate the plan count.
2. Deleting profiles is very cumbersome—you have to create a segment to do it.
3. Even then, the option to delete is still missing, and we can only suppress the profiles. If deletion is possible, the option is very well hidden.
4. Support isn’t helpful; they write long messages that don’t make sense and refer you to confusing FAQs. Or they end the conversation while you’re still in the middle of following their instructions.
5. Overall, we’ve tried multiple times over the past few months to resolve our issues across various stores, but we haven’t gotten anywhere. We’re still on a higher-tier plan and haven’t been able to delete any profiles.

Extremely unhappy. Klaviyo is an OK email service, it is not super user friendly or smooth, it get's the job done.

Last year, my monthly price went from 80usd to 150usd.
And if I pause and resubscribe, it would be 200usd.

That is a 250% price increase.

During slow periods now, I cant keep my costs low, because then they will squeeze more money from me.

I would be very cautious picking klaviyo today.
They are in a phase now of just capitalizing the living hell out of their customers.

I am looking very hard to get out, and never come back. My energy to trust the company even if they adjust the prizing in the future would not be there.

So be cautious, if you get on their payroll, they will use you as hard as they can, and it is probably not great for either your or their business long term.

they are moving into a charge method when they want to charge you like they do provide the sales, but they really don't. They help send emails, the rest of all services are nothing unique at all. Meta owns their traffic and sells it to you. Klaviyo helps you communicate with your costumers, but they want to charge you like they also own the traffic.
But they don't.
Your customer lists are yours.
Not klaviyos.
They do not bring this value.

Be careful, and if you sign up, get ready to get used as hard as they can to get all the money out of you. You will end up in a annoyed frustrated position, the more dependent you get on them, the more they will take advantage of you as time goes by.
Think of it like telling a secret to your best friend, and then they will start blackmailing you not to tell it to somebody else, that is the feeling you will have in partnering with klaviyo.

Klaviyo has been a very helpful platform for managing our email marketing and customer engagement. The segmentation, automation flows, and reporting tools make it much easier to understand customer behavior and improve campaign performance.

What impressed me most is the quality of the customer service. The support team is professional, responsive, and always willing to provide clear guidance when we have questions. Their help makes the platform much easier to use, especially when optimizing flows, troubleshooting issues, or improving campaign strategy.

Overall, Klaviyo is a powerful and reliable tool, and the excellent customer support makes the experience even better. Highly recommended for businesses that want to build stronger customer relationships through email marketing.
