Same issue as Glitterhound. Installed the app, upgraded to subscription...got some help initially, seems good, but now I'm having trouble actually posting to social media. It's been a week since I last emailed for support. I want to love it....
Update a week later. I got one reply with a vague excuse, essentially "we're working on it", and no response to the other parts of the problem... Now today I try to publish a review on facebook, and get this message.

Note, I have a PAID subscription. Terrible, terrible customer service.
Update: So, it seems there were growing pains, with this app, but I stuck with them, and am quite pleased with how it's functioning now overall. There are still little issues that crop up occassionally, but they actually do follow through on complaints, even if it takes awhile sometimes (other times it's very quick). All in all, I'm glad I stayed, good value for the money. Love being able to post my reviews to social media.

After experiencing some issues with the service, they have done some fixes and it seems to be stable again.
The review platform works well, and if it stays up 24/7 we are happy to stay as customers.
Kudobuzz is a very good review system. There are a few improvements that could be done but overall probably one of the top 5 review apps out there. A little integreation with reviews for specific products being able to show up underneath the products themselves for those ones would be great.
Amazing customer service support! Great app to have :) However I gave 4 stars because, unless you upgrade to a paid plan, you cannot stop an automatic after-purchase Kudobuzz email from being sent to a customer that has already left a review. This risks annoying the customer. It seems like something minor enough to include in the free plan. Especially when it involves what gets sent to your customers and the impression it makes on your store. This should be in the owners' control and not that of Kudobuzz. Hopefully this little feature changes in the future! Otherwise, I recommend this app :)
It does what it says and has an attractive display. The website is a bit confusing however, and the free version only allows you to connect one social account.
So far, So good. It is not overtly in the customers face. Just out of the way enough to be really practical!
Great app and the folks (thank you Kena!) are super helpful and quick to respond. We had some specific needs and their options work great for us.

Doesn't work with 2.0. Says it does, but when you try to add a block or widget anywhere on the page, it doesn't show up. Using Dawn theme.

Never left a review before for anything in my life. Waited 12 hours for support to reach out and ask a question that was answered in the original message.
After, which I continued to wait. Here we are 24 hours into one question and I still haven't been able to move forward with any resolution, as no one is responding, let alone providing valid solutions or even reading my responses.

BEWARE OF THIS APP & THE SERVICES PROVIDED! Used for a year and it properly worked about 3 months out the entire year. I constantly had to communicate with the NON-EXISTING CUSTOMER SUPPORT that they have who are EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT. I basically GOT ROBBED they did not provide the service I paid for and when I would complain about it they would have a bad attitude, they ended up closing my account when I requested I be compensated for all the months my reviews did not port, they closed the account WITHOUT ever refunding me or fixing the issue that was at hand. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE the service provided by this app will be a headache in the long run.
Awesome support! My reviews from Etsy couldn't be pulled so I got in touch with support. Turned out Etsy had made some changes and Kudobuzz needed an update to be able to get the reviews. Within 24 hours they had updated the app and all of my reviews are now in. Most definitely recommend this one!
We had been using the Kudobuzz on another platform before recently switching to Shopify and really wanted to be able to carry this over too. The tech support from Kubobuzz was fantastic and made our changeover easy, even bringing over all of the previous reviews. This little app does everything we need and want. Thank you Kudobuzz!

I’ve been using Kudobuzz for over 2 years and it’s been a great experience from the beginning. The customer support has ALWAYS been excellent. They always answer questions quickly, resolve issues quickly and even did some specific code changes for me. All of this has been on the FREE plan! I am still on the free plan, as it supports publishing up to 50 reviews and I’m not there yet. I’m surprised that the free plan offers so much functionality! I’m able to customize things and the various widgets are available for me to use (e.g., widget to show a slide of all reviews, widget to show a "trust seal” reviews badge, widget to display a full page of my reviews...and more).
I LOVE that I can collect site level reviews along with product reviews. That is a must-have feature I require, as so much of my jewelry is unique/one-off so the product page goes away when I can’t make that product any longer. I wouldn’t want to then lose any product reviews that were left for a product I don’t make/sell any more. Not only can the customer decide to leave a site-level vs product review - on the manage reviews dashboard I can convert a product review to a site review!!! Perfect!!
I also love that I can manually input reviews. E.g., I sell my jewelry on Amazon Handmade and get reviews there. If I was on the first level paid plan, I would be able to sync and collect my reviews from Amazon, but on the free plan I can’t. So, for now, I’m entering my Amazon reviews manually to Kudobuzz. I’m just happy there is a way to do this.
In addition, I also really love that I can set Kudobuzz up to auto-publish any review over x # of stars - that’s a time saver. And, even on the free plan, I have it set up to send emails requesting reviews. Seriously, there are a lot of features available for free.
Of course, I do want the additional functionality that is offered with the paid plans, so I will need to upgrade at some point.
One feature I REALLY wish was in the first level upgrade plan (“Breakfast plan”, currently priced at $13/month) is the ability to offer a discount coupon code to entice someone to leave a review. It looks like that is only available once you upgrade to the “Lunch plan” at $20/month plan. Considering the $13/month plan supports up to 1000 reviews, I think it should include the “coupon code” feature at that level of plan. Coupon codes are one of the ways to generate more reviews, so why is it only available at the 3rd level plan for $20/month? If I already had over 1000 reviews, I wouldn’t need the coupon code feature so badly!
The other VERY important functionality for all reviews is to have Google rich snippet reviews. For Kudobuzz, they say that is “coming soon” - unfortunately, it’s slated to be in the $20/month plan. I hope they add this functionality soon, and I REALLY hope they include it in the $13/month plan instead. It’s just SO important. For example, Stamped.io supports rich snippets on their free plan, and Yotpo also supports rich snippets (although I’m not sure if with their free plan). So, it’s truly a negative that Kudobuzz does not yet support rich snippets at all.
Of course, the other two apps I mentioned have different features offered with their various free and paid plans, so there are tradeoffs you need to make when deciding which features are the most important to you so you can choose which app will provide you the best bang for your buck (or for free!). For me at this point, Kudobuzz gives me what I must have right now. Hopefully, they will support other functionality I will be needing when I am ready to upgrade to a paid plan. Given all that, for my needs right now, this is a 5 star app. For my upcoming needs, the lack of availability of coupons and Google rich snippets would make this a 4 star app for me in the future.

I had trouble importing my reviews from Etsy to Shopify, so I was happy with their customer service. They were fast and helpful.
With Kudobuzz I was able to import all of my Etsy reviews into Shopify. From there I had excellent app support from David who responded immediately to my questions regarding installing the widget onto my product pages. It's great to have such quick support for a very helpful app. For a long time I've been hoping to find an app that could bring Etsy reviews into Shopify, and Kudobuzz did it! Thank you for your app and great support!
Best customer service I have ever had. They kept working on solving my issues for an entire day and those stars under my products look great! They brought over my Etsy reviews. User interface is clunky/not intuitive and not mobile friendly.
Easy to set up, and easy to use. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Would recommend this app for the reviews.

Unable to load reviews from one channel on the free version. It says to upgrade when I haven't even added reviews from anywhere
Thank you for sharing your feedback. On our free plan, you're limited by the type of channels you can collect reviews from. You were getting the upgrade notice because the channel you wanted to connect was most likely a premium channel.

I have been trying to contact support and they never respond. I want to like the app and I even upgraded to paid version. You would hope that for a paid service the customer service would support the investment. Very disappointing.

The product is nice and offered at a good price.
HOWEVER, the product frequently goes down - site visitors just see a blank screen. I was told by their support team they would fix the issue in a few weeks - the issue has been ongoing for months. Their team informed me in the meantime, the only way to get the reviews to show when the service goes down is to enter the app and make a change in the data. This "refreshing" of the data causes the app to reload and render the reviews again - it's a hack that is highly unreliable.
This is obviously extremely inconvenient. I have to monitor our site all the time to see if the Kudobuzz service is down. Clearly this is not possible to do 24/7 or at scale. As a result of the lack of stability in their service, I am losing orders...
I feel like we put Kudobuzz around the ringer. We were putting this app on our US and AUS stores and somehow we got triple duplicate reviews. Naana from Kudobuzz was kind enough to work through the entire problem. It took a while, but it was a mess. I really appreciate their help for getting it situated! Great app, great support!

I love this app for my online store. I use rh Free Version. I like how I could customize the colors with my store colors. Cheryl has great customer service. Answered all my questions and helped me set up the reviews when I was having trouble.

like this app a lot. The review form looks really nice since I can customize it to my site's colors. I especially love the little review widget visitors can see from any page. The email that one can opt to have go out to customers asking them to leave reviews is really nice. All the customer has to do is click on a button in the email to leave a review. I'm using the free version of the app now, but will be upgrading to paid as soon as I start selling from my new website. Selom of customer service went above and beyond for me when he fixed code erroneously left behind from another app that was interfering with this one. I'd recommend this app to anyone! Oh - I almost forgot - Cheryl of support was great also.

I have been searching for a user friendly business review app that I could display as a testimonials page, this is it!!! Finally an easy to install and nice looking app that does exactly what I want it to do, I can also manually enter the reviews previously submitted via the other app or given to me off site. Thank you for this app, amazing I came across it as it wasn't showing up when I searched the app store. The free version is perfect and if I want to upgrade to premium the pricing is very reasonable, unlike a lot of other apps.
