We have been working with Langshop for some time now, and we have been nothing but satisfied with them and especially their level of service. The app fits seamlessly with our backend and our day-to-day workings with the text on the shop. It is so easy to reach directly from the product/page we want to translate.
There is hardly anything that we cannot translate and even with the apps that do not directly integrate there is a workaround that only requires a minimum of skills or coding knowledge – and if anything is slightly out of reach for our skills, the team at Langshop are great at helping.
What is especially great is that no matter at one time of day or week we might have problem, someone always answers within almost minutes. This means that we feel safe that even if there should be any sort of breakdown or error happening, a team will be ready to assist us and make sure everything is running again. This is very important for us, and for us to feel safe using the app for such a crucial part of our website infrastructure.

I want to start this review by saying that this app is 100% worth trying just for the dedicated support and the importance that the langshop team gives to any customer who encounters problems. I had a rather complex problem and it was resolved within 2 days by the team. Whereas other apps would blame shopify or other excuses( it happened to me).

PRO list with things that I like at this app and why I continue to use it:

-The translation quality, the app is super user friendly, it's the only app whose interface is easy to understand and where I don't get lost in the settings, also they use the same translation AI as the other apps, the part I like about this app is that it has DeePL integrated in it, which is super good for stores selling in countries with different languages.
One thing to point out and note by me is that for the translation to be as accurate as possible you need to get the punctuation right and the product names not to be spelled out in capital letters, otherwise the AI will consider them brand names, the app will translate any word and phrase if you follow the simple rule above, otherwise you run the risk of it not being so accurate but the problem would be with the original content, not the translation.

-It has a great design and lets you customize the language switch button as you want, I tried it on other apps but this feature was quite limiting, which is a plus for Langahop.

-The cost I consider relatively cheap, considering that with only 30 dollars it translates for free in 5 languages and you have no limit to which words or characters it translates.

-Customer support and customer care is 10 stars, they really care about their customers, which surprised me as they always helped me with different questions and queries.

Cons arguments to use this app I didn't find, many say it translates slow (I find it quite ok, they translated 250 products in 8-10 hours). I from previous experiences with other apps it has about the same speed, but accuracy of translation is more important than speed for me, that's why for me I can't consider it a con, but it depends on each one, it's a subjective thing as one is willing to wait.

I tested ten translation apps. When I saw Langshop was developed by Aheadworks I decided immediately to give it a try as their plugins for my old Magento store back in 2012 were always some of the best developed. Since inclusiveinc.org is a 501c3 certified nonprofit charity serving the most physically limited disabled individuals with no use of their hands and arms through our Shopify NPO account. I wanted to try to reach as many people in our niche market worldwide as possible. Because most of the solutions we provide, we are the single designer manufacturer and distributor. If we didn't create and provide them, they would not exist. The only way to do that is to translate our site content into many languages as possible. Langshop did that seamlessly for 20 languages . Combined with Shopify markets, sales of one specific product designed exclusively for disabled individuals with spinal cord injuries or other neurogenic disabilities increased 10x immediately. We have a few reports of babies born to couples that otherwise could not have a child. As they say sex sells especially when it's in your own language! But ultimately we've been able to reach and Inspire so many more people with our content and solutions so they can see a future filled with possibilities that lets them develop a perspective of capability and find or discover their own unique purpose. I highly recommend AI Translate, for stores with a vast product range and a dynamic content production process. I evaluated it as a high-end app with a fair price.

Because I have “suffered” a lot due to my wrong decisions around translation apps I hope my review will improve the lives of other store owners.

I have experimented with numerous translation apps. Considering the recent developments of Shopify, I believe it is crucial to use an app that relies on native Shopify translation technology. This makes it simple to handle translation import/export and offers seamless integration with Shopify Markets functionality. AI Translate scores a perfect 10/10 on this front.

The app's service is outstanding, with the team always available to provide quick and accurate responses to queries via live chat. They are also extremely courteous and helpful, earning them another 10/10.

When it comes to translation quality, the app's "engine" and the availability of a glossary feature are essential considerations. As someone who wanted to utilize DeepL, I was pleased to discover that AI Translate not only offers DeepL but also Google Translate. For this reason, I give the app another 10/10.

The app's user interface is straightforward and shares the same look and feel as the Shopify backend. It is very fast, which is rare for most translation apps. While this may be a matter of personal preference, I appreciate this design and give it a 10/10 rating.

The app's pricing is fair and reasonable, considering the high-quality features and service it offers. If you wish to use DeepL, you will need to create a separate account directly with them, which I believe is an excellent approach since it eliminates any markups.

Overall, AI Translate is a top-tier translation app, and I highly recommend it to any Shopify store owner that is serious about investing in website localization.

20230728 - They have improved the speed of the translation extremly.
Also implemented new features which are very good. For example if you are using dynamic text and you have to update your theme it is stll copied to the new theme. Also other new features.
They will get now from my side 10 stars!!!!!!! I am a German and has high demands. I am very happy since few months. They worked hard to improve the app. I had a lot of complains in the past. Everything has been fixed in a high level. Now they will earn 10 stars from my side (in the past they got only 1 star temporarly because of several problems). The support will earn also 10 stars from my side. For other apps you have to wait days for a response. They will react in few minutes.

20230228 - They did a great update regarding metafields - This topic is also fixed now.
20230216 - They have changed the behavoir of the statistics within few days. This topic is fixed now.

In the summary the app to recommend because of the the features which the app supports.
Also the translations of dynamic text parts which are not part of the theme.

I use the free tier and am very happy with it. I mean, one cannot really complain about something that works alright and you don't have to pay for it. That being said, I would like to send a big shoutout to the support team! Super nice, quick and they really solved my problem. Even though I don't pay for it yet. So, yes, pretty cool!

Great app!
Tried some other translation apps as well, but none could fit my needs.
Very easy translation. When translating the whole store elements at once, it "translates" icons as well and some other things changed, that shouldn't. But the support was very helpful! Now everything works as it should.
So for the future it would be great, if they can somehow implement it, that icons are not "translated".
But would definetely recommend this app!

We use this app on both of our stores and we dont have any problems at all.
We tried every other app in the app store but we was really disappointed.
But now we are Happy with our Choice.

The customer support is really fast and they try everything to please you :)

Verry happy with the langshop app which we have installed to launch our new Markets and translations. There is a fix for everything. So Navigation, Cookie bar, Menu topics. The app is a bit confusing at times, as there is so manny content to be translated in one theme but there is a very good customer service available that is quick and complete in there response.
