people who work in support are not helpful, I was deceived for $ 18, they pretended that it was not their fault, admitted to wrongly charging the fee, and now they do not want to withdraw it, because, as they say, they cannot

I advise against installing this app, there are only problems with it, they will charge money and disregard you

Our Customer Service Specialist has been communicating with you about this issue privately, and we assure you that your $18 will be refunded once posted. Our Service Specialist is watching your account daily and will process the refund from our end as quickly as possible.

We understand that you were attempting to use our app in your “test store. However, because the store does not have official Shopify development store status, you were charged $18 when your free trial period ended.

Shopify is the payment processor for all Shopify apps, meaning we are subject to their processes. Shopify will notify a merchant of a charge long before the charge is “posted” for the Shopify app. This means that while we understand you were charged $18, we have to wait for Shopify to “post” the charge before we can see the charge and issue a refund.

We understand that you have tried to contact Shopify about this charge, and we have, but we are still waiting for their response. At this point, the best course of action would be to wait for the charge to post, and as soon as it does, we can issue the refund.

I am trying this app since 3,5 days now and want to share my experience as I am highly disappointed. Why I give 1 star is because this app is seriously hurting my business and when I tried to talk with the customer service they were not interested at all to help me.

My problems:
- when someone added a product via the products shown from the app and abandoned the cart, this abandoned carts are not shown in shopify, so there is no possibility to follow up with them.

- the figures "added to cart" and "reached checkout" increased very nice which was wonderful to see, but unfortunately the final conversion rate decreased from 0,9% to 0,42% which really hurts our business! I dont know why there is this drop in final conversions, I did a lot of testing and finally tried to reach out the customer service of LimeSpot to see if they could help me. I wrote a very detailed description of my problem, but the responses where anything else than satisfying. They ignored my points, gave me very strange answers and said that they just dont track abandoned carts and "wheter people finally buy or not is not up to them"... ähm okay, but if because of them the people dont buy its really bad I would say...

To complicated so removed, now find out it deleted my mobile theme and am now trying to restore it what a nightmare hadnt noticed it was removed for 3 weeks and google penalising for not being mobile friendly now!!!!

App has no tutorial. Help files are not up-to-date. The support is terrible, never really gives a straightforward answer.
The app looks more promising that really is.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS COMPANY WILL HARASS YOU WITH EMAILS THROUGHOUT YOUR TRAIL PERIOD WHICH IS A COMPLETE TURN OFF. WHEN YOU REQUEST TO HAVE THEM STOP EMAILING YOU, THEY SAY NO - RYANNA AND THEIR SUPPORT TEAM DO NOT PROVIDE YOU ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WOULD PREFER TO HARASS YOU SO YOU CAN PAY FOR THEIR PRODUCT. I HAVE NO INTENTION ON PAYING FOR THIS APP AFTER MY TRIAL AND INSTEAD USING A DIFFERENT APP BASED OFF RYANNA TELLING ME SHE WOULD NOT STOP SENDING ME EMAILS. HOW TACKY CAN A COMPANY BE? TASTELESS WHICH COMPLETELY TRUMPS WHAT THEIR APP DOES. I WOULD LEAVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

We would have been very happy with this App, if it was not full of bugs, the support not completely absent, and if they were not trying in every way to get a cut of your sales without actually doing anything.
■ The good things first: their product presentation actually is better than the one we had before for suggestions.
■ The bugs: their similar product recommendations are shown in a carousel which, if the navigation arrows are clicked, redirects to a 404 page. Wonderful shopper experience.
■ The absent support: We sent 2 different messages to notify them of this issue but got no response in a week.
■ The "trying to catch some of your revenue without doing anything": The support was prompt to contact us instead to recommend some "improvements" they made, where they would replace the product listings on our website with their listings every time they could (with their buggy experience), so that they can take a cut on our sales since all sales have to go through their product listing.

Just endless problems
and no interest at all from the staff to solve it
(just generic repeating of standard instructions you can find in
the help files, even if it doesn't address your complaint/issues)

1) related items didn't work..at all,
despite being the simplest thing that apps like these can do.
Didn't show items from the same collections,
nor with the same tags. Had to manually go to each and every single
product and assign items..which takes ages and defeats the purpose
of this app (let alone an AI smart app like this)

2) not responsive, shows ugly scroll bars and no arrow navigation
(saw this on other people's sites as well, not just mine)

3) AFAIK, no simple quick way to add or remove a section on
all pages (all has to be done manually per page)

4) shows products you've set to unavailable in your store anyways...

5) loads slow

6) sometimes doesn't show the item's images, until after you
browse through the carousel

7) leaves theme code behind after uninstalling (and emptying cache)

May work for you, but for me this was a disaster, despite
looking promising.

I installed this app and the store looked good. However the problem started prior to me going live. The app was failing by duplicating listings, at different prices, some had descriptions from my suppliers and others had images that were missing. On top of this my default currency was GBP but the app advertised everything in USD!! After uninstalling and reinstalling several times and discussing these issues with their technical team. At first they were responsive but then I couldn't get hold of them once they realized they had a serious problem and didn't know how to resolve it.I still haven't heard off them after uninstalling for the final time. I would warn you all that this app is unstable and unpredictable and needs further development in my opinion. You Have Been Warned!!!

Terrible, messed up our cart page. Adjustments to cart items with the plus and minus button now duplicates the product inside the cart, removing the product also duplicates it again. They should be removed from the app store list for this terrible code corruption, so rookie. PLEASE FIX NOW!

LimeSpot is a recommendation and merchandising tool. While our recommendation boxes appear in your Shopify store’s public-facing interface when you publish them, out-of-the-box, we do not alter the behavior of your cart or other basic website functionality.

Given that you had LimeSpot installed for about 7 minutes, there was no time for your team to make any custom modifications that could have caused this issue. LimeSpot did not cause the glitch with your cart plus/minus buttons.
