LitExtension Store Migration

Without LitExtension, it would have been impossible to migrate our old e-commerce site from Prestashop to Shopify. Everything from basic customer service to technical support is flawless. I highly recommend them. I am a graphic designer and I am working for a food retailer, handling marketing for the store. I am not a web expert. I had done some web design work, but not involved in development and web mastering. The toughest challenge was to migrate the reward point service, because our version of Prestashop was 1.5.x and newest version is 1.7.7.5.
Once I had a problem because, the technical staff member was replaced by a new one by previous ones’ job leave, and the reward point numbers got messed up at that time. But the new staff member was patient and he got the numbers right in the end.

We had to migrate our shop from a platform that wasn't well known or easy to migrate. It was SQL based and used asp to render the products. We had been using this product for close to 19 years and finally had to make a change.

With several thousand products and around 4000 customers we had no idea how we were going to pull it off. I found LitExtension while searching migration apps.

For a very reasonable fee they migrated all my products, including photos, and all our customers. The customers even had their order history migrated. They kept in constant contact and were also very patient with us as we needed to get the products over and fine tune the items that had more then 3 variables. We didn't want the customers brought over till we felt the products and the look of the new site was where we needed it to be.

It honestly was a very smooth migration. LitExtension did exactly what they told us they were going to do.

I migrated from woocommerce. The app was easy to use. When I imported order details, I had a bunch of old orders show up in shopify as unpaid and unfulfilled, and LitExtension support was really great in helping me resolve the issue and reimport correctly. They were fast and responsive and helped me fix the issue. Saved me hours of manual work.

We needed to migrate a store from Magento to Shopify. It was a complex project - they had a few currencies, most of the orders were pre-orders, products had various custom attributes. I was looking into solutions, and contacted LitExtension support multiple times to ask some clarifying questions. They were always responsive and willing to help. One of the issues that we had was that the hosting provider didn't give the access to the database, but they did provide a database dump - and the tech team extracted the data from there. They also did various customizations to transfer the data in the most accurate way. So, I want to thank LitExtension team for their help!

Jay made every effort to make sure the mirgration of my Japanese website from BASE to Shopify's platform was a complete success. I was concerned that working across websites with two different languages (Japanese and English) might cause some problems, but Jay was able to migrate everything exactly how I wanted, even changing details like the formatting of names on Shopify to match Japanese customs. While we live 12hrs away from each other, Jay worked late so that we were able to communicate at the end of his day, and I would have mine to test the site and check things. I can't imagine the process being any smoother, Jay's technical skill and helpfulness made a very stressful transition completely easy! I would recommend this service to anyone who needs to migrate any website, I'm positive LitExtension will be the right team!
