What is Local Delivery?
Local Delivery allows you to create multiple delivery areas and pickup locations and assign different schedules for each one! Do you have certain zipcodes that you can only deliver to on a Monday? No problems! Or if you have pickup locations that can only fulfil orders on Friday morning, you can set this up with a few easy steps with Local Delivery!
Who is it for?
Local Delivery is for any store that wants to schedule their own deliveries/pickups. From a few zipcodes to a few cities, Local Delivery can work for you!
How does it work?
Our easy-to-use app allows you to create multiple delivery/pickup areas with unique schedules. Then your customers will be able to choose their preferred fulfillment method and date and time on the cart page.
Unlimited Delivery and Pickup Schedules - Set up different delivery areas and pickup locations. If you have areas that you can only service on a Monday to Wednesday from 9am -11am, customers in those areas can only choose a delivery date in that range.
Delivery Areas - Create delivery areas using zip/postcodes. Customers outside of your delivery area won’t be able to select a delivery date/time.
Delivery Rates - Add a delivery charge that will be added to customer orders at the checkout (Requires Shopify's ‘Third-party carrier-calculated rates’).
Blackout Specific Days - Set days where delivery is not available, for example Christmas Day. Or set a range of dates, for example 30th Dec 2020 to 3rd Jan 2021.
CSV Export - Quickly see the deliveries/pickups you have scheduled for each day with our handy CSV export feature.
Delivery Offset - Specify the minimum/maximum amount of time between ordering and delivery.
Set Delivery Limits - Limit the number of deliveries in a given time period. When the customer is choosing their delivery time, time periods that have used up their delivery allocation are unavailable.
Set Minimum Order Amount - Add a minimum amount to orders that customers need to reach before they can schedule their deliveries and checkout.
Customize - Add custom text to the local delivery section of the cart page. Specify contactless delivery or request that customers sign for their deliveries, for example.
