Merchants appreciate this app for its ability to control access to specific site areas, hide prices, and lock certain products. It's ideal for businesses differentiating between wholesale and retail or offering exclusive products. The app is also useful for selling digital content behind a paywall. I use Locksmith to establish minimum purchase on my checkout cart. It works perfectly!! I didn’t do a thing the guys at Locksmith did everything. And for return customers they made another minimum purchase. Really helpful because we only do wholesale business!!

[UPDATE: over 2 years from my original review, and I still feel 100% the same way!] This app is truly incredible. Our website is B2B and this app has completely given us all of the control we wanted over our content. And, their support is outstanding!!!! (Thanks, Jed and Erica!).

Great app. Used it to hide pricing on items until we approve customers that have been verified. Responsive support that walked me through a few settings I overlooked.

Works well with lots of options for different scenarios. Can be complex to set up but if you have a question, a real person will respond to you very quickly with good advice. It's expensive considering that basic locking features should come with every Shopify plan, in my opinion. The search tool to start a new lock can be very slow, to the point where it freezes completely. Apparently this is a problem on Shopify's end, but I wish that there was a way to filter before beginning a search; such as, search only products (or collections) for the term ___. I also wish you could lock tags. All that said, we've been using the app for over a year now with no problems.

I have used locksmith years. It does exactly what I want it to do and when I have different ideas and need to implement more locks, the team at Locksmith are beyond helpful, beyond wonderful. Most stores need this app. Once you have the app, there is always, always something that locksmith can do for your site.

Super helpful app and easy to use. We have a page in our store that I only want visible to paid customers, and this does the job. I also use it for private listings.

This app is great, easy to use and Isaac, the developer is magic. He will answer your questions quickly and even work on code for any customization you require. If you are thinking of purchasing, pull the trigger. you wont regret it.

This app has really helped us segregate parts of our Shopify store for certain customers by adding access control. The app has been working flawlessly so far, and we thoroughly recommend it.

I also want to mention that, just a few days ago, I contacted Locksmith about an issue I thought I had with their app that caused customers to have to log in twice. Much to my embarrassment, this issue had nothing to do with Locksmith.

Following this, a nice chap called Jed, regardless of the fault being with another app, went above and beyond to investigate, and provided me with detailed information as to which one of our apps was causing this issue and why.

Many app developers would simply say 'it's not our app that's causing it' but Locksmith are not just any app; they're there to help their customers, and they deserve recognition for that.

Great work, guys!
