DO NOT USE THEM! We were with them for two years. They lock you into a year contract. You have to estimate how many returns and exchanges you'll have during the year. If you exceed your limit, you have to pay them $3 per return / exchange you go over. If your company grows, so will your returns, which means Loop will cost you more money. They're a bad option for both small and large companies.
After the first year, they were going to charge us around $13,000 unless we renewed our contract with them. We had to pay them around $9,500 at the end of our second year contract for going over because we grew faster than expected.
Competitors are getting better and they're way cheaper. Plus most competitors don't lock you into annual contracts. It is well worth the time doing some demos with other companies and accessing their overall value. Unless Loop adjusts their contractual and pricing structure, I don't see how they can be competitive.
Also, when there were glitches in their software, their customer support was awful. My advice is save your money and shop around because there are definitely better options.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Loop, although we are sad to see it under these circumstances. Regarding our fees, we are focused on helping our merchants stay on top of any overages and help with accurate returns forecasting. We would be happy to discuss this more if you choose to ever come back to Loop.
We've been using this app for 2 years and have never quite been able to get it to work right. Because of that, we've had to deal with some very unfortunate customer experiences. When bringing the problems up with customer service, they were extremely slow to respond (several days per email), and generally unhelpful. They are requiring us to finish our 1 year contract, even though the app has never really worked 100%. There seems to be a lot better (and cheaper) options out there now, so I encourage you to shop around!
We are a small business that is growing fast. We recently migrated from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus in order to have access to cleaner and more effective e-commerce tools and the ability to more easily scale. Loop was one of the major influencers in our decision to switch. I am not a web developer but I do all of the web backend work myself. Of all the apps that I have used so far in Shopify (and probably including Shopify itself), I think that Loop offered the most comprehensive and easy-to-follow onboarding documentation. I reached out to Loop support a couple times when I got stuck or needed clarity on something and every time their support was extremely responsive, helpful, and patient (even when I was probably coming across as crabby - my own fault for trying to do too many things at once!). I was able to get Loop configured and running for the most part in just a few hours with a few tweaks here and there as the rest of the site started coming together over the next week or so. My assistant who helps with processing returns and exchanges is over the moon about how easy it is to use Loop too. We are definitely fans. Thank you for a great product and great service!

Horrible customer service and completely overpriced. App is missing a ton of critical features. I used it for over a year, willing to over pay. When I insisted to cancel, guess what they kept on billing me. Dess said she would let me know, bill came in anyway. I do not want your service stop forcing it on my company. Shop around the Shopify App Store lots of better cheaper solutions.
Our team had trauma from Returnly and Loop was the solution to what we were looking for.
- Onboarding was smooth and easy, Returnly was complicated and took so long!
- Reporting is easy, Returnly was complicated and we were always missing reports.
- We were able to implement the exchange feature and gain more sales
Overall, we're very happy with Loop and the customer service they provided.

I am super impressed with Loop. It functions and looks better than anything I could have DIY'ed. Loop is user-friendly, with a clear interface, excellent tutorials, and an approachable team. I was not anticipating the amount of "homework" I had to do but it wasn't so bad because there was a handy to-do list. I recommend Loop to anyone looking to improve their Returns & Exchanges process.

We have been really unhappy with this app. We have zero support. When you send a support ticket, it may take days for them to get back to you, if they get back to you at all. They will not call you or schedule a meeting if there is an issue, so instead, it becomes days' worth of emails back and forth and a waste of valuable time. We find it glitchy and not user-friendly and not worth the money.

Loop is a great system and our account manager is always quick to answer and give us the reporting we need! The Loop analytics are super extensive, however, are a bit more manual than we would like, but you most definitely can pull all the return information you need. The Loop team is always quick to accommodate and respond to us though, which is super appreciated whenever there is an error.
We have had a couple of issues in the past with slow load time at the POS level in-store and some errors on exchanges. However, we worked with the Loop team to resolve the exchange errors and are excited for Loop to keep evolving and getting better and better!

Overall - Does the basics, but not a great value. Good option for a mid-sized business, but if you are smaller I'd go for something cheaper and if you are bigger, I'd go for something a bit more comprehensive. Pros:
+ Return Portal UI is clean and works well
+ No issues with Shopify sync and does reduce workload vs. manual processing of returns and exchanges Cons
+ Fairly expensive for what is ultimately a pretty simple service
+ The whole concept of reducing refunds vs. exchanges is just marketing. It truly does nothing in this regard. In fact we saw our refund % go up significantly since installing Loop
+ We pay a couple hundred bucks per month and I don't like how miserly they are with features; e.g. we can see certain analytics but they restrict the ability to see basic stuff like product refunds until we upgrade to the next tier (I understand SAAS pricing but the way they do it feels just cheap)
+ Customer support is mostly a disaster. The team is nice but it seems like they're completely overwhelmed. We've had an issue syncing with ShareaSale and it's legitimately been 2.5 months since we raised it. If we send an email, it usually takes about a week to get a reply. We've followed up maybe 5-10 times on this issue alone, which is of course super frustrating to do when there's a million other things to keep track of.
