LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVE APPS. DO NOT USE THIS OR PAY FOR SCALE PLAN. Loox Used to be a good app. When contacting them with a issue in order to help me i had to upgrade my plan and then when i got in touch after upgrading they close the chat as soon as they get a chance so without any human help.

The app is overpriced and charges additional fees during use without clear notice. I don’t recommend it.

I’m sorry to hear that the recent charges came as a surprise. Loox follows Shopify’s app charges and billing cycles policy - as long as Loox remains installed on your store, Shopify will continue to generate app charges. I noticed that Loox is currently still installed on your store, which is why these charges are still appearing.

Complete scam do not use this platform, they charge you 40$ for every 300 orders you get, for doing NOTHING. no sending reviews, no nothing, just a flat 40$ per 300 orders. the audacity for a review app to do that is astounding.

My $9 plan is no longer available and I can't access my reviews to export them because I've been paying monthly for the last 2 years but they are saying it's a free trial. The new plan is 4X the amount and I would like to use a new review app without being forced into their higher plans that do not work for my small business. After speaking to the rep, none of the info provided work and I still can't access the old reviews

Hey, I'm happy to clarify! You can always export your reviews from Loox, even after you've uninstalled. Additionally, Loox offers several different plans for stores at different stages of their Shopify journey, including a $12.99 plan for merchants who are just starting out. It is too expensive. More apps do the same way cheaper than this one. I was paying 10usd and suddenly they change me to 30usd per month. They are counting all the orders, my store is COD but not all orders are paid, so they should not count.

Was using the app and it worked perfectly and out of the sudden they disable access on their dashboard app if you don't upgrade the plan ???

next plan says and i quote "300 review requests included in base price + $28 per additional 300 emails" but there is no way to limit how much you want to spend so you could easily pay hundreds of dollars without control over it!

Disabling the messages to new customers if a certain volume of orders is reached, is understandable.

But closing access to the app due to a certain amount of orders ??????

As soon as next month when I get access to the app again I will delete it and transfer all my reviews to another app.

NEVER AGAIN LOOX !

Cobros sorpresivos, este mes nos han cobrado el doble y no hay donde dirigirse para hacer el reclamo correspondiente. Pésima app, cobros fantasmas, hay otras que son gratuitas y hacen exactamente lo mismo.

2023: Works great. Maybe a little early to draw a cohesive conclusion, but compared to the reviews app in Vitals this works much better, both on the customer end (adding reviews, getting reward, receiving mails), and administering and displaying the reviews.

UPDATE 2025:
We contacted Loox to get a feedback on why they haven't informed us clearly enough how much the additional orders would cost us or why the haven't moved us over to the Unlimited plan.

Since this isn't displayed clearly in the app itself, only when you go through the Shopify bill this hasn't caught our attention until now, leaving us with a total bill to Loox this year at $USD 9959.76…

On their website or in the app itself they do not inform users about the "Unlimited" plan (299$ per month) that is shown in the Shopify App Store.

When I flagged this to the chat support I was very quickly stopped and moved over to email and the chat was reset.

So if you're wondering why Loox is doing so well?
Look for the fine/hidden print in the plan.
