Was using the app and it worked perfectly and out of the sudden they disable access on their dashboard app if you don't upgrade the plan ???
next plan says and i quote "300 review requests included in base price + $28 per additional 300 emails" but there is no way to limit how much you want to spend so you could easily pay hundreds of dollars without control over it!
Disabling the messages to new customers if a certain volume of orders is reached, is understandable.
But closing access to the app due to a certain amount of orders ??????
As soon as next month when I get access to the app again I will delete it and transfer all my reviews to another app.
NEVER AGAIN LOOX !

I Paid the beginner plan since many months already I just saw now that since many months I have reached the limit for this plan '500' orders. And this app that I pay monthly is now just to display some previous review on my shop ... So not worth at all.
More than that I paid additional 5$/monthly for the Loox referral but it doesn't work at all as it's blocked now so I feel scammed buy this app paying fees for nothing as it's disabled. I can't even go to the settings to modify some display or modify other things that I setup when I had the app at the beginning except if I start paying 40$/monthly which is way to expensive for this kind of app ! Can't even contact the support while I still pay this app that's why I have to leave a bad comment here.
Really It's not worth if you plan to work in longterm with your shop it's better to use an app like Ryviu or Alireview.

I'm really disgusted of this economic behavior !

Our Beginner plan is designed for stores starting their journey in the Shopify ecosystem and is limited to your first 500 orders from when you finish the Loox trial.

The fact it makes you pay an extra $25 usd to be able to send more then 100 review requests is WRONG! I don't want all the other BS features you offer otherwise I would have already upgraded. I loved this app because of the option to have photos but now I will be looking for a new app.

Make sure you read the fine print.. Their plans are sneaky and you'll end up paying basically 0.10$ per email sent out. Can easily set this up in Klayvio for 1/10th of the price. Better review apps out there for a fraction of the cost 1/5

Our Growth plan is a pay-as-you-grow plan that charges based on how many review request emails you send each month.
This plan is designed to allow you to collect reviews from all your customers but only pay for what you actually use. This means that during slower months you automatically pay less.
This payment model is listed both on our Plan selection page as well as on the Shopify app store.

I have deleted this app twice now. And it still charges me monthly $35 I am not even sure how I can resolve this issue. I was told I needed to contact the app to cancel my subscription. I sent them an email no response yet. I also would like a refund of my money also.

Apps cannot charge merchants after their app have been removed from stores as this process is controlled automatically by Shopify.
App charges that were already included in your invoice before the app was removed will still appear even after the app is uninstalled as the app was in use for part of the billing period.

Optimised to make you pay for the expensive plan. Not user friendly. No full control. Please improve 1/5 stars. Willing to pay but for a service that value the money. Plenty of free low quality apps otherwise

this app will drain your money, there is no way to setup a spending limit for automatic reviews they will keep charging you 28dollars per 300 emails which is really expensive, I can't find anyway to stop these automatic reviews.

Don't get me wrong. This app is great and serves its purpose. The reason for giving such a bad rating is the lack of internationalization features. If you are taking advantage of Shopify markets to sell in different languages and currencies, Loox cannot be translated unless you use Weglot, an expensive translation app that injects lots of code into your store and host translated pages in their servers rather than Shopify's. After using Loox for quite sometime, we will need to switch back to Judge.me so our social proof can be translated via Shopify translation API rather than some extra app we don't really need. It is disheartening because we like the app, and it's a lot of work to switch back. I hope they consider fixing this.

Our Multilingual widgets do allow for the automatic translation of the widgets using Shopify Market.
The Weglot integration is specific to the review content only.

Keep your eye on your bank. They charge extra. Even after I deleted the app, they continue charging me. I spoke with them, and they refunded me the first time. However, they are still charging me, and right now, I have this problem every month.

The charge you refer to was created before Loox was removed. It might be that an app charge is already included in an invoice before the app is removed and hence still appears after it is uninstalled.
I see that we have refunded you for both charges and that you have uninstalled Loox.
Therefore, Shopify should be stopping all future app charges.
