New to shopify and so happy I came across the Bold team of apps. I love that they offer trials. I especially love that this app is free, even after the trial, for up to 50 customers. I'm a small business, for now, and don't expect to make a ton of money/customers overnight. When the time comes that I do have over 50 customers, the pricing plans are affordable.

I had an issue with customers being able to redeem points and it did take a few days to resolve the issue due to delays in response to my emails but Michelle was very helpful and helped me through it in the end. I do think response time could be better improved.

We love this app! We started using it as an option to give store credit to our customers, since Shopify has yet to include this feature. Keep up the good work Bold Apps!

Really nice app to have and the support reacts really fast too. I have some issues with the liquid update and they helped me with it.
The only thing is that, there is some lags regarding this app during a designated time in the day. Not sure what is it, but my website will keep loading bold loyalty continuously with no success. It gets back to normal after 30mins or so.
However, just a minor setback of this wonderful app.

Great and true loyalty app. Would be nice in the future to add points to customer that share on social networks. apart from that it does what I expect it to do.. would recommend it .

so far it looks good still setting up my store and will revise my review as i get customers to use the app and i see new features launched. one feature i want is partial point redemption. for instance, use xx points for $xx off your order, rather than right now its all or nothing. i want to dive into the program and start setting up the tiers. i also read the app integrates with their other apps so ill look into that and if all seamless would be great. the app creates a separate individual order which is not a big deal. hopefully as i learn and use more i will bump up my review to 4 or 5 starts. want my first customer to redeem first to really test. however, you should note the app is already more promising then the other apps that use discount codes i like the set up of this more than the pop up box of the other apps.

Good, but has a fatal flaw, maybe 2.

What I love: Points are tracked basically automatically, which is awesome. Customers do mention the points and "play the game", which means that they are engaged and spend with us so that they can use their points. I like how easy it is to adjust points on the backend if I like.

What's meh: tiered points structures seem like a good idea, the implementation is unclear and how one would actually service different lists of customers without using an additional (paid) bold app is beyond me. A built in motivator like a banner would be awesome.

What's a long-term dealbreaker that needs fixed PDQ: POS integration is severely lacking. Sure, customers can earn points from POS transactions (if and only if their email is attached to the order BEFORE the transaction), BUT customers cannot use their points to make purchases at the POS. In order for them to redeem points in-store, they have to sign into our website, look up the item/price, and then purchase it from the site.

This adds at least a few minutes to the transaction and tons of frustration.

Please please please figure out POS integration!

Breezes over the fact that their app bypasses SHIPPING AND TAXES. Their workaround is to devalue your reward program points to make up for it. They act like it's no big deal when it is a huge defect. The minimal documentation mentions 6 months ago that it is in the works, but it still isn't available. In fact, bold can't even provide an estimate on when this will be available. They won't even guess. Just another app from Bold that bypasses how things are supposed to work and causes more issues than it fixes.

Hasn't really created a "customer" base for us enough for people to come back and use the point.
