Even though it's really not that difficult to set up, developers are willing to help you along the way - even offering to completely set it up for you, just the way you want it. Couldn't say no to that. They also send you a video on how exactly it works on YOUR website. They also confirmed that points will be visible on the Shopify New Customer Accounts very soon.

Anyway, good stuff, and the developers are worth supporting - they do absolutely make sure you're satisfied with the app.
