Lumise ‑ POD Product Designer

Simple but effective, brilliant program. I needed help with orders being deleted after two months and the team helped me and got everything back within a day or so

UPDATE 12/10/2020 - We have 3 major open issues and Lumise/Nitro Apps does not respond (Daniel or Jade). We can see they read our chat messages. We send them by email and through Shopify also. Customer service is worse than any other app. They are in Vietnam. We have a Philippines app and they respond in 4-10 minutes no matter what time it is there and they fix things right away. ____Positive: (1) Ease of Use for business and client. (2) Extended free trial so we can get set up. Needs improvement: (1) Jade and Daniel are in Vietnam (12 hour time difference) and have no USA support hours. It takes time to get answers. (2) When they need to look into it they say 'please wait' but do not follow up proactively. (3) The app does not take the product weight; we have calculated shipping and this makes us lose money. They say it is not possible technically because the checkout goes through the app. (4) Some of our fonts are cut off and we are waiting for a response that they have fixed it. (4) Need more set up documentation so not so many questions need to be asked.

I have been using the app since 2022, Just as satisfied as today, knowledgeable and helpful staff who always help. They have really been there for me since I started my business. I strongly recommend everything is so simple on the app also if you have questions you have knowledgeable staff who really help and get started with your business. I want to thank Andy who has helped me with everything and always helps when I need.

I tried several apps and I've finally found the most functional and user friendly app!! I have nothing but great things to say about Lumise's support team. Jade has been fantastic and super patient to all our requests.

I am still setting up this app but so far I have had a great experience with it and it seems to meet my needs. I had a few questions about getting started and they emailed back within 1 hour on a sunday, which i really appreciated. I have still yet to test the app on customers and see how the received files will print out, but i can't see a problem so far and the design looks really clean. I can't wait to release it to my customers! UPDATE
This app has changed my life. I never realised you could create links to your design to share. I will create the customers design and send them a link, they can then edit it and send it back to me. With every order made by a customer, i can go in and make sure its centred and take out bits i don't need before print. This takes less worry of the customer of doing it wrong and cuts my set up print time by 80% My only suggestion to make this app perfect would be to integrate it with shopify's cart. I think customers get confused about having to put their print size in the cart first. It would be great if the 'checkout' button in the app took the customer to the basket page of the website instead of the final checkout page that has no way to go back to the website. I realise that i could perhaps move size prices onto the app, but this will also confuse them. They're a confusing bunch!

I love the app...many features to use. Most of all the people at Lumise are always helpful. Helen and Jade have been great. Jade just setup all my Lumise products with a customize button only. Thank you Jade!!!!

Great Support and Great App! I was not aware of the app feature very well. but they trained me amazingly with details.
I've tried many apps on Shopify but this one is really reliable and easy to use with strong features.

Moving over to Lumise from another product customizer. I would definitely recommend using this app. The product customizer is super easy to use on the back end. On the front end it looks really professional and clean. At first I had trouble installing the code onto my shopify theme however I was helped by customer support (Jade) on the spot! Jade was able to install the code for me in a few minutes. Overall I am very satisfied with the customer service and quality that Lumise offers!

I have persisted with this app because I am optimistic and see that this could be a great app with some updates. It is not actually compatible with Shopify as it takes over the shopping cart/checkout entirely. So if you run other apps that require the cart and checkout to remain as standard, it will not work at al for your store. It sets up a shopping cart within the Shopify shopping cart so there are 2 checkout buttons.
UPDATE: The developers have now been helpful with working on the coding for my store so that the messy checkout this app makes is better for our customers. This app does have plenty of possibility and potential and I still hope that in time the required improvements will be made, however it is a way off from actually being properly compatible with Shopify, especially if you sell items that do not require customisation along ones that do using this app.
