Such a predatory pricing structure. Klaviyo's pricing was more upfront and honest, plus open rates DOUBLED. We've been with Mailchimp for 12 years, it's no longer king of email since it was acquired.
We've been using Mailchimp for 5 years. The platform is incredibly user-friendly and has been a reliable tool for our business.
This week, we encountered an issue and reached out to support. Rafael was amazing—he resolved the problem within minutes!
I finally can chat with customer service on a free plan regarding my mailchimp app for Shopify! It was about time you guys @ Mailchimp!

I have had an awful experience with Mailchimp until I spoke with Troy. I had a 14 day trial and wanted to try out some specific features of the subscription. I had a tech call but the person wasn't able to help me and said it was passed on. I did try to explore more but was left with no resolve. I had account call, great guy but he couldn't help me with my concern, Days went by, I emailed and sent messages to no avail. I then finished my trial and was billed!!! Very disappointed I reached out AGAIN!!!
This time I got Troy, he was very helpful and patient. The issue was a complicated one and took 2 sessions to resolve it. he made himself available to me and provided me with as much information as possible to ensure the matter was sorted. If I got a new trial I would really reconsider using them long term. It could have been teething problems BUT it almost cost you a customer.

Pas toujours facile cependant de maîtriser son design et la mise en page des newsletters.
Mais ensuite ça se gâte. Je rencontre de nombreux problèmes de synchronisation avec shopify et d'intégration dans shopify.
Par exemple je ne retrouve pas le même nombre d'abonnés côté shopify et côté mailchimp, il n'y a pas la possibilité de segmenter correctement par rapport à des chiffres d'affaire générés ou autre (contrairement à ce qui est régulièrement annoncé et mis en avant). Lorsque vous essayer d'avoir des explications avec le support. C'est lunaire.
C'est le point très négatif: l'équipe support est un fake.
D'où ma note.
J'ai 3 problèmes en cours qui trainent depuis plusieurs semaines. Les réponses sont évasives, différentes selon interlocuteur, elle reporte l'investigation, et la résolution du problème sur l'utilisateur.
Dernier exemple en date : le pop up pour l'inscription à la newsletter qui s'affiche sur mon site alors que je l'ai désactivé, puis supprimé depuis mailchimp (car ça ne fonctionnait pas). Il continuait à s'afficher malgré tout sur mon site. Le support m'a invité à faire appel à un développeur freelance !
Ce n'est pas l'aide que l'on attend d'un support.
Malgré les nombreuses qualités de Mailchimp (mais que l'on trouve ailleurs) l'incompétence et la mauvaise fois de l'équipe support m'amènent à mettre cette note. À contre coeur.

JUST A MASSIVE RIP OFF. Great sales pitch...so I signed up, only to find that a massively complex set up include DNS settings. Because I have 45,000 contacts it then charged me for all of these despite only 21,000 being subscribers. So, so far not 1 email sent and £500 in charges. Avoid these people like the plague.
