Installing the app was super easy and the syncing back and forth is seamless. Highly recommend the app. Can’t believe We didn’t find it sooner.
So far so good. The transition was simple and seamless, ad the Shop Sync support team did a great job creating a tutorial that was VERY helpful!

After some initial struggles installing the app when it was first released, we've been very happy with this solution. Once we got everything installed, it has kept us connected to our MailChimp account which is very helpful.
Hi, thank you for the feedback. Earlier today, we experienced technical difficulties with ShopSync loading up correctly in Shopify. Our engineers reacted quickly, and the issues have since been resolved. During this time, data was being processed as normal in the background if your app was connected. The problem was isolated to the app settings loading up correctly in the browser.

ShopSync Simply incredible. I found this APP that is very simple to install and use when integrating Shopify with Mailchimp. Highly recommend to all!
any help at all is reserved for pro. Absolutely horrible customer service because there is none unless you meet a certain requirement. At the very least your app should work as promised, even without support. Edit to respond to the reply: I connected with your team by mistake. Your team immediately told me that they wouldnt help me without looking at the message and told me if I wanted help I'd have to upgrade to pro. They could have read my email acknowledged that it was an error and send me kindly on my way. they did not however do that. Instead they sent a canned response that was completely irrelevant to the email. Which IS the definition of horrible customer service. I use your service and had this experience and decided it was noteworthy to share. I received a nice email response from the founder who addressed the issue. There's a lot of work that needs to be done on ur csr dept.
Hi Art of Kava, for one-on-one support via chat or email we do reserve that for our Pro users. However, if you're having fundamental syncing problems we don't mind helping everyone. Lastly, I looked into your note that came into our support desk. The question was more centered around two apps that are not affiliated with ShopSync. I would suggest reaching out to either Shopify or Recharge for further assistance.
ShopSync was easy to install and set up. It only took a matter of a few minutes. It is not a fancy app, but it does all that I need or want it to do. It's simplicity is a feature.
I don't typically write bad reviews, but My orders aren't being tagged on mailchimp and I'm not able to send an email out to my customers. I added 2 tags in shopsync but in mailchimp it says there are no tags. Can you help me? Please email Josh@movingmoments.com
Hi there, I'll respond to this reveiw and also send you an email as mentioned. To get tagging working, it's a two-step process described here: https://support.shopsync.io/features/tag-mapper.
You'll first need to add the tags in the settings of ShopSync and then add the tags to your customers in Shopify. These need to be spelled exactly the same in order for them to sync. Also, you may also need to execute a Force Resync for past data to show up.

This works but the Merge fields aren't showing for me and when a customer signs up to our newsletter it takes about 5-10 minutes to send to Mailchimp and sometimes doesn't send at all even though in their knowledge base it says real time sync.
Only using the app because the Mailchimp platform is so great.
Hi there, thank you for the feedback. We saw your review and wanted to drop a note on the syncing times. We rely on Shopify to send us webhooks for any kind of update on customers, products, and orders. Depending on the volume on Shopify's infrastructure at that specific point in time, webhooks may have been delayed. Normally, transfer times are close to real-time to Mailchimp.
Ultimately, data is not lost if there is a backlog of information to process, it just may take a few minutes to go through if the queues are backed up. We'll update our documentation to reflect this possibility, thanks again for the feedback.
We strongly don't recommend this app. It pushed through some sort of update that axed half our list for no reason. Our subscribed customers were all suddenly unsubscribed and now we are in a mess trying to fix. Such a waste of time and frustrating.
Hi there, thank you for the feedback. We saw your review and it sounds like on sync there was a merging of data from Shopify to Mailchimp that unsubscribed those customers. Before any data is processed by ShopSync, we perform integrity checks with Mailchimp to ensure these customers can be sent to the audience that is connected. For example, if someone has opted out of an audience in the past, we won't add the email again. We'll also update Shopify with the correct status that Mailchimp shows. That way, the most current subscriber status in Mailchimp is synced with the store.
