I have had an awful experience with Mailchimp until I spoke with Troy. I had a 14 day trial and wanted to try out some specific features of the subscription. I had a tech call but the person wasn't able to help me and said it was passed on. I did try to explore more but was left with no resolve. I had account call, great guy but he couldn't help me with my concern, Days went by, I emailed and sent messages to no avail. I then finished my trial and was billed!!! Very disappointed I reached out AGAIN!!!
This time I got Troy, he was very helpful and patient. The issue was a complicated one and took 2 sessions to resolve it. he made himself available to me and provided me with as much information as possible to ensure the matter was sorted. If I got a new trial I would really reconsider using them long term. It could have been teething problems BUT it almost cost you a customer.
I love the integration, it makes emailing easier and less time consuming. I love the product recommendations, however I did have issues with it pulling archived and drafted products once or twice. When I reached out to MailChimp they were helpful and seemed to very much want to fix these issues. Although a few things need to be fixed here and there, this emailer is the best one I have used so far. I love the analytics and overall ability to improve every email.
DAVID was able to help me edit an automatic email and provided help with the amount of time before the pop-up appears on the website.
Overall the app has pretty much everything you need, but I do find that there are times where I'm not able to accomplish what I need to. In terms of customer service, it's great! David was very nice and responsive and was able to give me answers very quick.
CLARISSE was very helpful and patient to solve our problem.
I have only just started using the app. I needed some help with initial setup and Troy was really helpful.
For the most part working with Troy on the chat was the easiest experience I've had with a chat app.
Mailchimp has been a good service integrating with Shopify. As with any saas integration across two platforms there are always going to have a few issues. But both sides are always quick to rectify.
I particularly would like to point out the customer success managers from mailchimp. We've had two stellar ones so far who are high on communication and helping us use all the tools available.
