Magical Make an Offer

The app developers went above and beyond helping me to set up this app when I had difficulty with understanding how to navigate the set up. I'm new to Shopify so it's likely an easy app that's somewhat difficult because of my lack of experience with website development.

Possible suggested change for app developer: I don't like that the customer gets an email from "Magical Make an Offer" instead of from me. I'm using this app for donations to be given and donors could think it's a spam email being sent to them. It would also be nice if there was a way for me to send the customer a customized email after they've completed the purchase.

Update : Fixed, thanks make an offer. I can't download my offer, counter offer always error when buyer trying to use the offer link. No support at all. I will change this after developer respond to my email.

Great product wish there was better notification but otherwise love the opportunity it gives us to offer our customers

The Make an Offer app has been a very useful tool to communicate with potential buyers. While the odd offer is unrealistic, most offers are worth negotiating with. It would be good to be able to adjust the template ourselves, perhaps that is in there and we just can't find it. I feel the fees are a bit inflated for what it offers. Saying that, it is highly recommended.

Overall I am happy with this app. However I would be even more happy to read the SKU when I am receiving the offer on an item.

Very helpful app. Announcing a sale, in this case a Moving Sale, really helped kick up interest - and the Make an Offer sale resulted in much greater sales than a year-end sale. I sell skis, and they come in numerous lengths. The app allowed individuals to make purchases without specifying length, which created extra work to resolve.

2018/5/29: The ability to limit the pop up to certain items has proven very useful. I enable the pop up on clearance items, which helps move them, and don't enable it on current items, which preserves pricing and makes my retailers happy.

Really useful app that has produced revenue for our store. Customers love having the ability to negotiate and this gives them an easy way to do it.

App is working very good for us, just note that sometimes it won't send SMS to you for few days but it will work again as usual .. the 2% fees is little high specially when an item is not a low price item but overall it is a very good app.

Fantastic app, integration looks seamless and support is helpful and responsive, pricing structures are great also. Would recommend.

This app was instrumental in getting some of our products moving. We like the interface and implementation within our Shopify account. Of course, it does lend itself to some lowball offers that come in, but it gives some interesting data on what people are willing to pay for certain items.
