Quite frankly one of the worst marketplace management tools I have ever used. The support have been terrible over a vital issue where the orders have been coming through to shopify at £0 and this has had a massive knock on effect on our accounting. The support keep saying they are on it, but it has been a week. Now we are getting other random issues where the orders are selling at the GBP number in AUD. So if a product was £100 it has been sold on AUS overnight at $100AUD. This is half!!!! So far the impact is £3k of sales which should have been sold at abouyt £6k and the issues keep continuing. We have had no proper support and since the migration from Codisto things have gone from bad to worse. The knock on impact of this is going to be 5 figures at this rate. Simply not good enough, dealing with people who simply dont care about small business. As long as their job is ok though hey?

Worst Support, Worst App, Lyn was not supportive at all. I was unable to list products on amazon. Contacted Supported and Still No Help, They asked for a document that doesn't even exist.
Not secure. There is an integration issue with Walmart, and customer support requested we share private API key pairs and secrets in plaintext. Unimaginable.
This app is unpredictable and support is spotty. They are clearly still developing this app. I have been using it since November for Ebay and Etsy and the app nearly caused my etsy shop to be suspended with the recent developments they made to it. It was resetting my supply listings to claiming they are handmade, by me, recently. This is a HUGE violation of etsy's number 1 policy and led to them removing 2 listings in the past month of raw materials I sell for crafts. This caused Etsy to also remove my star seller status and they are threatening suspension of my shop. As of this moment there is no way to correct this on the app in settings. I always choose "ALL etsy rules" and the app was still behaving this way. I audited my entire shop of nearly 2000 listings, manually, going through the listings one by one, about 5 times in the past 8 months correcting these mistakes, as well as repopulating the SEO tags the app removes from Etsy. Interestingly, these mistakes are pretty random and unpredictable and effected about 75% of my listings with no rhyme nor reason. There are also issues with the formatting of descriptions, so, as a workaround, the past 8 months I was forced to listing everything separately on etsy and then link the listings- which is also difficult because the app is unable to show a thumbnail of the etsy listing when linking, leaving lots of room for human error. It also does not correctly show shipping details the buyer choses at checkout when pushing the order through to Etsy- like it wont tell you the buyer chose Priority mail, if they did, once the order gets pushed through to Shopify.
I am still using the Ebay connect, but there are also issues there regarding item specifics. The app creates duplicate policies on ebay with a sku at the end and when I contacted support about this they denied the app is doing that. I have no reason to create duplicate policies with a sku and no listings attached to them. The app also deleted all the item specifics I had on ebay and there is no workaround for that in the app, other then entering them all again on the app itself, which doesnt include all the specifics Ebay is asking for, especially regarding jewelry. It also removed variants from 5 of my tumbled stone listings (of which I have nearly 200 working just fine with their variants) and have been trying to work with support on this issue for over a MONTH with no fix in sight other than random pulling at straws- seriously some of the most asinine "ideas", like changing the variation name, or the category, or the title, which doesn't make sense as I have 200 other listings, listed exactly the same way, in the same category, and they are integrated and working just fine.
I am going to try waiting it out a little longer with the Ebay connect side in hopes that these issues will be straightened out, but I do know theres another great app out there, the one I was using before trying Marketplace connect, that I will be returning to if this doesn't get sorted out soon.
DO NOT USE THIS APP. We have had constant issues with this app and most recently with orders pulling through with a zero value on eBay and Amazon. Their support team have been absolutley awful and unhelpful. After contacting their support I was reassuraed the issue would be escalated but the support team have now just stopped resonding to me. After contacting support again I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to wait (even through they've stopped responding to me) after then immediatley ending the chat. This has become a major accounting and shipping issue! Where international orders have a zero value for the shipping, it means we have to manually enter a value in our shipping software in order to ship out orders. It has further caused a significant accounting problem as Shopify is reporting a zero value for the orders meaning it's severely affecting all of our reporting and margins. If you want a smooth and easy process for your eBay and Amazon orders I would strongly recommend that you do not use this app!!

Can't seem to set mine up - either an issue with the asin or sku.
Great concept, just unfortunately doesn't work for me so will try the old fashioned way of manually adding the products to Amazon.
App creates order for FBA but does not updates Shopify inventory. HORRIBLE APP

When a fulfilled by Amazon order (FBA) is created on Shopify, Amazon automatically adjusts the inventory of the product from their Fulfillment Center.
Therefore, Marketplace Connect does not need to make any adjustments, as Amazon handles the inventory updates.

If you are just getting started, don't use this app!!! It's a normal nightmare to sync it with Amazon and eBay if you haven't configured your products on Shopify (nobody will tell you that) - It's definitely not newbie recommended and not as straight forward as they want you to think it is.
Until today (23/08/2024) I haven't been able to send a single product from Shopify to Amazon - there's always an error somewhere! Not great!
Despite having 24/7 customer service available via chat, I am yet to receive any resolution to the issues I am facing. The responses I get are limited to a single email per day, either requesting additional information or stating that I will be updated on the progress. The core issue is a SKU mismatch on all the items. If you are trying to run a serious e-commerce business, this platform may not meet your needs. I was informed that my case was forwarded to an engineering team that appears to be non-existent. very disappointed !
This app has given us nothing but countless hours of extra work. Slow to use and not intuitive at all.
