It's a good app that does its job well but has a few limitations.
I was having issues with the images on eBay, and I wanted them to be different from the ones on the website. The customer service here to work out a solution was fantastic. I gave back a star for this resolution and the customer service.
I now only have one issue I am not happy with: the template solution wouldn't work for me, and a working HTML description editor would be the only solution. It's a 5-star app with that fix.
- The HTML structure doesn't work; I previously had individually set up product descriptions for eBay, but they don't work using this app, so the code breaks.
- You can't edit any product information on eBay as the Shopify Marketplace App will overwrite it. You can adjust policies on eBay.
I want a toggle option to be inputted to either have eBay overwrite the product images or description; other than that, it should just be product SKU identifiers and various other product listing details.
Ediline (Shopify Marketplace Connect) helped me out greatly i was having trouble integrating my Walmart Selling Account and it wouldn't work on my end i sent them the Keys and granted them access we got Disconnected at this point and i was freaking out ... they emailed me and said to let them know when i approved the connection for them to help. I approved it and asked if we could chat again They said no they had other customers but they went ahead and Validated my credentials on the site for Walmart and it worked now Im connected cant thank Them enough for the support!
I was exporting 7 of my products to my Etsy shop from my shopify store and I got in touch for some help because the process of the export was taking longer than it should.
I got in touch with 3 different advisors over a week time and they tried to help and told me me what to do and said it will work but, I could not get any success and so I tried to reach out again for help and thankfully I got Mary Grace.
Mary Grace was just amazing, professional, helpful and patient. She did her job properly.
Mary Grace notice exactly what I was saying i.e the process is taking too long which was over a week by now. Mary Grace did not do what her other work colleagues did by saying to me I must wait for the process to published.
Mary Grace grace saw it was taking long and did the necessary steps she was trained for and, that is she look on her end to see what is the issue and in no time she spotted what was wrong and solved the issue.
I just dont understand why the other 3 advisors could not see and do what Mary Grace did and, it is so frustrating to know I have to wait a week for the issue to solve. Everyday checking and looking that my products and they are all stuck on publishing and it is no fun but, a complete headache.
Mary Grace I just want to thank you so much for what you did for me. You are truly an amazing, hardworking, thoughtful and helpful person. I have no doubt you will continue to give such wonderful service.
Mary Grace has taken the time to wait for the completion to be finish and has continued to monitor the process for me and to let me know when the products are all exported.

Adrian helped me solve a lot of problems that I just missed on my own, helped me get to the bottom of the problem while solving small tasks on the side not even directly connected to app or integrations. When everything was sorted out my listings synced from Shopify to Ebay with ease, highly recommend!
After investigation we found out that our inventory with Amazon is not sync correctly. Contacted support and they said that they only update inventory when Shopify have quantity updated, but if order placed on Amazon directly then they don't update quantity on Shopify unless you turn on order sync as well. Now we have to process inventory count to fix quantity that wasn't updated, and it's hours of work.

We want to clarify that Marketplace Connect is designed to update inventory in Shopify when there is a quantity change in Shopify itself.
For orders placed directly on Amazon, the inventory update on Shopify requires the order to be synced to your store.
The inventory decrement is triggered by the action of pushing the order to Shopify, ensuring that all sales channels are accurately updated.

Excellent customer service. I just added the app and was having issues with Amazon. Bit of a learning curve here but, the other marketplaces synced with no issues at all.
If you are just getting started, don't use this app!!! It's a normal nightmare to sync it with Amazon and eBay if you haven't configured your products on Shopify (nobody will tell you that) - It's definitely not newbie recommended and not as straight forward as they want you to think it is.
Until today (23/08/2024) I haven't been able to send a single product from Shopify to Amazon - there's always an error somewhere! Not great!
Short review: App is slow, buggy, and may lead to your eBay account and Walmart account being suspended. Avoid this app.
Detailed review: I hate to leave a 1 star review but need to express how frustrating our experience with Marketplace Connect support has been. We switched over to using this app months ago and got our eBay sync set up to our account we've been selling from since 1998. Our account is now on a warning to get the seller rating up due to all of the cancellations we've had to do since using this app. It has constant sync issues with our Shopify inventory. If we sell something in store? It may take days, if ever (seriously) for it to update on our eBay store. Naturally this leads to regularly overselling items.
That's after you can get past the VERY slow UI on Marketplace Connect's end for setting things up. The Walmart connection is even slower to navigate, but at least, so far, that sync is stable. To their credit, they have improved the navigation on the eBay side some since we started using it, and I suspect a large part of their issue is that they just are not optimized for stores such as ours with hundreds of thousands of SKU's.
We've regularly provided support with updates on oversells and sync issues. They are always very fast to respond (kudos to the 1st level support group!). But they never have answers. We have zero communication from them other than when we send over a new example. No updates what-so-ever. After months. So when we do ask for an update on the underlying issue, 1st level support says the ticket is still with the engineering team and there is no further update to provide.
I feel like we've given support ample time to fix their issues, or at least *COMMUNICATE* with us on a regular basis to know what to expect. We've had to put our eBay account into vacation mode at this point and seek alternative options.
Edit: It's been well over a month and we've since found a different app from the eBay sync (Lionz) where all is working smoothly. In that month, the Marketplace Connect support has had one single response to our long open ticket. It was a promise from one of their developers that they would be looking into our ticket further, and that they would stay in touch. Not a word since then. So for anyone having similar issues, please check out Lionz instead. They are eBay sync only for now, but actually work well for that portion.

We continued using Marketplace Connect to sync with Walmart. It worked for a few months, but now sadly suffers from all of the same issues we ran into with the eBay connection. Items sold in store do not get removed from Walmart, leading to oversells days, weeks, even months later. App support is not helpful. They just thank us for the bug report submissions, but nothing gets fixed or communicated beyond that. So we are divesting ourselves entirely from this app and moving on.
