Since Shopify has taken this over, they've destroyed the app and any work you've previously done. I had all of my settings correct and everything was working fine for months without touching it.
When Shopify took this over, here's a few things that have happened.
- It disconnected from Amazon without notifying me. Meaning that no orders were flowing causing late shipments. I almost lost my Amazon store over this.
- All of my settings were changed. So all of my custom titles, descriptions, etc. on Amazon were wiped out and overwritten with what's on Shopify.
- My rankings fell out of the sky because of the second bullet point.
- The app just stopped working and loading. It's like their API to pull in the information just broke.
The developers working on this are destroying people's stores.
9 Months trying to get this app to work. It's been hell.
5000 products missing.
eBay prices that don't match what I set the app to be.
Thousands of images missing.
Size & colour options are the wrong way around on many listings, so the colours aren't shown when selected.
Customer services, which used to be really good have gone downhill since Shopify acquired it - 16 days trying to get an issue sorted, with reply times of 24-30hrs.
It's recently been much quicker to use.... YAY ..... But nothing will actually save ..... spinny wheel of death.
It's working okay on Amazon at the mo, but I haven't been able to list anything to eBay for months.
Totally exacerbated, and I'm actually paying for this pain!

Rainier Salta has given the best service I could have possibly received. He was patient with the multitude of issues, help me understand the software and looked up the cases that my team had previously reported. He did he best to resolve his issues and helped me navigate the app and how difficult and complex it is.
5 stars for him. 10 stars if I could

This app is horrible and should never have been released in this condition. It's buggy and doesn't work. I have two tickets that have been escalated to the dev team and there is no ETA of a fix.
The app is also unnecessarily complicated, has terrible UX design. It has made my job very difficult, has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with technology. I will be looking into switching.
Please feel free to contact me, I would love to discuss this matter with whatever team rushed the release of something that was clearly not ready to be released as it doesn't work.

The content API isn't working with Google. This stopped working in June of 2022. As of today, September 2022, they still cannot correct the problem for me so none of my products are showing on Google. All I get is lip service! If you have other options, don't get involved with this company
App is filled with bugs. Forexample, the field where you are suppose to set a fixed price does not work. Many errors when enabling listing on Ebay. Furthermore, the app cannot manage currencies and VAT properly.
THIS APP CAUSES OVERSELLS ON AMAZON
Ever since Shopify bought Codisto, support has been absolutely terrible. Our latest answer from support is that we have "too many items" for the app to sync from Shopify in less than 24 hours. There is no way to disable certain products, so the app imports every product in the catalog.
Due to the size, the app syncs inventory from every 24 hours, which would be fine, but the app OVERWRITES your Amazon inventory with the previous day's Shopify count, causing items to continuously oversell on Amazon. Our perfect rating on Amazon was slammed due to this apps inefficiency.
Support told us several times that they "implemented a fix", but a different support tech would get back to us and state there "is no fix". When we asked what "fix" was implemented, they asked for a different order to investigate. This went around in circles for MONTHS.
Note that this is NOT supported by Shopify. The support staff told us to "contact Shopify support" to reduce the number of transactions we have on Shopify.

Spent 2 hours on chat to find out why the app dropped my prices on ebay without me making any changes to the settings, consequently I am out of pocket by about 250 euros due to sales taking place at the reduced prices. And they say they cannot see why it happened but it must be beacuse I instructed the app to do it, when I had not even been on the app.

Horrible Experience in transitioning from Codisto to Marketplace Connect. Without ANY warning, the app stops working. Just found out through a random routine check. Support agent only half-reads my messages, gives out wrong information with high confidence which does not fix the issue at all, and promptly goes offline to not be reached again. Overall, not trustworthy.

We initially had some teething troubles using Codisto but these were resolved over time and the app was working great for us, our listings on eBay were listed without issue. This morning I have tried to list on eBay and everything has changed for the worse, I now do not have a clear process to list my items on eBay, the functionality is substandard to that which was in Codisto. Filtering is a joke. Why move us over to a new tool and give us less functionality than we had. This is now going to take me orders of magnitude longer to list items. I contacted Shopify support and they have not been helpful at all, very disappointed in the whole experience.
