Great Product,
Push product from Shopify to Ebay with 1 click, and push back all data from Ebay to Shopify. Can't wait to try more in this month.

I liked this app at first, as it linked ebay to Shopify without having issues with inventory. But the default description makes the ebay listing slow and clunky due to it being badly coded. This software is very expensive per month for its simply not amazing UI.
And the final blow was when this app started listing items way under price, as on ebay we mark our products up, and then app free shipping. But this app is constantly listing items to Ebay incorrectly. Making us lose money of a number of sales due to international shipping being FREE, and not marking the product up at all.
And now there is a direct integration between Shopify --> eBay, so why pay for this clunky software....?

We acknowledge your comments on pricing but firmly believe that quality software costs money to develop. We believe our pricing offers tremendous value for what it provides and believe merchants should be careful when being offered complicated integration software for 'free' as there is little incentive for these developers to maintain and improve the software. The performance, user experience and functionality of Codisto is market leading. Please visit the 'compare us' section of our website for more details.

We aren't sure what you mean by "But the default description makes the ebay listing slow and clunky due to it being badly coded" - by default we take your Shopify description to use on your marketplace listings but it's easy to switch to a custom description or amend the current Shopify description. Please email support if you'd like to learn more.

Regarding incorrect listing, the software will never list items 'under price', with free shipping when not intended or otherwise incorrectly. Listing will only occur with the settings used in the product. We can only assume you hadn't configured the settings correctly at the time of listing.

Great app. We used to have the regular codisto for amazon, but when we found out there was one for amazon with ebay, we switched over. When determining an app or software, there are two main considerations; how well the app works, and the support/communication of the provider. Codisto really excels with support, they have a live chat feature, and always reply to emails with clear explanations. We started noticing more sales with Amazon and Ebay since we started using their software. Thank you guys!

UPDATE: 12/11/2023 -
This app continues to get worse. At any given point, items will just stop syncing to ebay completely. Tile, pricing and inventory updates sometimes do not sync at all. As of now, we have had to reach out to customer support 6 or 7 days in a row for almost the same issues every time. Every time we reach out they say the same thing "we see the issue and it is fixed now". Then it works for a few hours, then stops working correctly again. I apparently have an open case that was escalated but there have been no updates. Yes, customer support chat is fast to reply, but when it doesn't result in the app being fixed, it hardly matters. We plant to compile our conversations and experience and submit a case to Shopify soon. We have lost money and a ton of time by using this app and we just want it to work. Again, I'll update this review if they ever get the app working correctly. For future users, note that this app is not ready for production if you have a large store with a lot of products. If you are seling a small amount, it should work for you but plan on doing a LOT of manual updates on your products and working with customer service nearly every day when syncing stops working.

ORIGINAL REVIEW -
I want to love this app, but it's painfully slow when using with ebay. I'll sometimes receive an order on ebay and it takes 40 minutes to an hour (or even more) before it syncs back to my Shopify store. If it's an item that is nearly sold out when this happens, the item sometimes sells out before the sync, causing it to be oversold. I've already had to cancel multiple ebay orders and refund customers due to this delay. Customer support blames ebay, ebay blames the Connect app. All I know is that if you chat with Connect support, they can manually force the sync and the orders magically show up. So if they can do that, then it's clearly something on this end, not on ebay's. There are also many listing fields that cannot be edited in mapping, such as Volume Pricing. Descriptions also do not float over on products, so I had to set a default one to post for all ebay listings. Long story short, this app COULD be great, but the slowness in syncing is causing me to look for alternatives. Or add a "manual sync" on the Orders page so we can force them to sync. Even as we speak, I have two orders on ebay that were pad for over an hour ago that still have not synced to shopify, one is now sold out, so I'll have to cancel and refund. So annoying! I'll update my review if they ever fix this.
