I spent a great deal of time trying to make marketplace work with Ebay...I think it should be made clear inside marketplace that an Ebay connection only works one way from Ebay to Shopify!!! Not from Shopify to an Ebay listings, this frustrating and disappointing to say the lease!
Marketplace Connect has been brilliant for our store. It takes all the stress out of managing listings across different marketplaces and has saved us so much time. The syncing is clean, the interface is easy to use and everything just works the way you want it to. The real standout has been the customer service team. They’re fast, friendly and genuinely go out of their way to help .
We reinstalled this app in April 2026 having previously used it in 2019. Upon reinstallation the app merged our new eBay account with our defunct 2019 legacy account and published our entire product catalogue of 1,000+ products to eBay without our authorisation, including brands we are not licensed to sell on eBay, putting our seller account at risk of suspension. We had to manually emergency-end all listings ourselves.
Three weeks later, after dealing with multiple support agents who repeatedly suggested the same failed fixes, the legacy account data is still present in their system. We have also discovered that a former employee who left our business in 2020 still has active credentials stored within the app, representing a serious data security risk.
We have now been forced to file a formal complaint with the ICO regarding the unlawful retention of personal data.
The app itself may work well for new users, but if you have any history with it under a previous account or trading name, be warned that your old data is never deleted and can cause serious problems when you return.
We would not recommend this app to any business until their data retention and account management processes are significantly improved.
Very useful app. Although it is a bit tricky to list products on Amazon correctly, I can still successfully use it to import orders and link my items. Customer support is great; namely Joshua, who was helping me to figure out some errors and made the whole process a breeze. Thank you for the assistance.
Die App hat ihre Herausforderungen und ist nicht auf Anhieb intuitiv. Sobald man sich jedoch eingearbeitet hat, funktioniert sie wirklich gut. Mein Tipp: Man sollte die Zuordnungen erst dann bearbeiten, wenn man sie wirklich versteht – sonst zerschießt man sich schnell sein Listing. Experimentiert lieber direkt in den Angeboten beim jeweiligen Produkt; dort lassen sich alle wichtigen Einstellungen sicher vornehmen. Bei Unsicherheiten hilft der Live-Chat kompetent weiter.
Die App wird damit beworben, auch für die Intgration von etsy geeignet zu sein. Für Neukunden ist jedoch nicht einmal mehr eine Verbindung zu etsy möglich., da laut Support die Unterstützung von etsy schrittweise abgebaut wird. Absolut unbrauchbar.
I’m not very tech-savvy, so I often reach out to the CS team whenever I encounter an issue. They have been very helpful and responsive. I especially appreciate that they provide screenshots to clearly show where the problem is, which makes it much easier for me to understand and resolve the issue.
So far, four of my inquiries have been handled smoothly. I truly appreciate their support and assistance.
Support won't help at all, import is delayed by hours. The only answer we get from support is we have to much orders which isnt the case or they tell us orders aren't technically importing late if they show up within 24 hours. Looking into alternatives
UPDATE: MAY 7TH
STILL NO RESOLUTION. SUPPORT STOPPED RESPONDING ENTIRELY. THEIR ONLY SUGGESTION THIS ENTIRE TIME HAS BEEN TO PRINT LABELS THROUGH THE THIRD PARTY PLATFORM. THAT IS NOT A FIX. THE CASE WAS SUPPOSEDLY ESCALATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM AND WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING. NO UPDATES, NO TIMELINE, NO ACCOUNTABILITY. IT IS CLEAR THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
Worst Expierience so far. App on phone is not useable. Plenty of errors while importing products to Stores. Hard to figure out what the problem is.
Randomly killed my Etsy Store last week. Lost all my listings and Ranks on Etsy. Since 1 week they keep telling me they trying to figure out what happend and the team is working on it. Nothing happens. I did lost a lot of money to them and also had to pay 0,20$ for any new listing i had to do without them. Support takes days to answer and you get these no sense answer that they are aware of the problem and trying to help.
If you dont wanna loose everything you build up, dont use this app. At least not for Etsy...
Die App funktioniert leider wohl nur bei kleinen Sortimenten. Die Synchronisation der bestehenden Ebay-Listings konnte bei mir trotz Eskalation des Support Tickets an die Entwicklerabteilung nicht durchgeführt werden. Ich habe 18 Tage auf eine Lösung gewartet.
