I use this for eBay and it is pretty buggy. I estimate I have to create a ticket with support monthly for bugs. Resolving the errors always involves me fixing the bugs which takes up my time despite them being issues with the app. For $29 a month it is way overpriced
Support is good and the app connects well to most marketplaces except for eBay which is a nightmare. I wish there was an easier way to disconnect incorrectly linked products rather than wait a few days for support to do it.
Works fine for ebay but not Amazon. I've been put through the wringer with this company and have been with them for 12 months so it's not a knee jerk reaction but MarketPlace Connect simply does not do what it says.
I keep being told developers are looking into it but it's not solved. I don't believe they have the technical skills because simple listings do not sync with Amazon and are stuck in publishing mode. I've waited 2 months for this to be sorted but run out of patience. I absolutely do not recommend this app for Amazon syncing.
The App works but beware despite turning off "Import Orders" (which Shopify explicitly say is the only chargeable part of the app) Shopify began charging me significant amounts, going against their own terms and conditions, and without my permission.
I was not importing orders, just syncing product inventory to our Amazon account (which is a significant size now). They decided to start charging us a fee for all our Amazon orders completely unrelated to anything Marketplace connect.
My money is still being held although apparently the billing team are looking into it but it does not seem to be going anywhere.
Can only be used on laptop/desktop (not through the Shopify App). Difficult to navigate and overly complicated. Runs very slowly and takes a while for new products to appear in listing results. New products must be manually updated (no auto-transfer). Screen recordings aren't supported by support chat system. But support is 24/7, responds to initial message quickly, willing to Google Meet/screen share, and answers questions effectively. The support team is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of just 1 star. I've been using the Shuttle app for over a year, and even though it costs $5 per month, it's soooo much better!
My overall experience with the app isn't great as I'm not finding it very user friendly and guides on how to use it aren't visible. However I've just had a positive customer service experience with Lou via email- she was very helpful, answered all my questions and provided links to further information I need. Her responses were prompt too.
Standard so-so, Shopify-built app that reminds me of Shopify Flow. It does some things but not the things you want. It does not integrate with useful new features that Shopify has introduced - like Metafields. You spend many, many hours figuring out that it does not do these things.
Do you use a metafield to hold your UPC data? You're out of luck.
Need to refresh a SKU that you've replaced with UPC data so that you can sell it on eBay? You're out of luck.
Need to reset a listing that has errored out? You're out of luck.
If you have a customized Shopify store you're not going to enjoy this.
To be honest, I thought it would be easy to sync listings to different marketplaces. So far I have been able to list my products on Etsy and eBay successfully, but I am struggling a lot with Amazon.
Syncing products to Amazon has been a pain, with syncing failing due to various different reasons and for the past few weeks the Marketplace Connect page in Shopify Admin has been either super-slow (30-60 seconds per page load) or not responding at all due to Codesto API responding slowly or with a FastCGI error codes
I am still trying to connect to the rest of the Amazon marketplaces internationally, but due to the page loading and sync issues it has been a painful experience so far
The app continued to push product to online marketplaces even after we archived Shopify listings and manually shut the links down. We had to cancel multiple orders because of it.

not all the categories of Amazon is in this app, so when u send date from shopify to Amazon you are not able to select correct category and then Amazon won't allow u to change it.
Customer care support is on and off, some time u get a good person some times totally waste of time.
only reason I started using it with the thought that its by Shopify but not looking for other apps to select and that may cost me a lot of time in setup.
