I did a ton of research on loyalty apps on Shopify, including taking the plunge with two others over a period of months. Both turned out to be challenging* or overpriced once additional features (like VIP tiers) were factored in.

Marsello was a breath of fresh air. Well-priced, a logical and elegant administrative UX and a rich set of features. Everything worked well and I can't recall a single negative issue. Support was also quick and effective. Highly recommended.

*Be careful about how shipping costs are handled (some apps do things in a way that just frustrate customers) and also whether a solution requires switching to another checkout component (this can have serious implications for others apps, like discounts/coupon apps, where conflicts may exist).

I love the ease this app provides in keeping up with customer spending and rewards in addition the segmenting and email options provided. This app saves so much time and research. It has been a game changer.

The amount of sales this app has generated for my online store is beyond anything I could have imagined. It's email campaign builder has the most user friendly templates I've ever used (MUCH easier to build and customize than MailChimp.) My emails are beautiful and generate so much more revenue than before. The email automations are super quick and easy to set up and do all the work for you. The type of information it stores about your customer's spending habits is extremely helpful, too. I can't say enough great things about this app. The pro plan is worth every penny and more.

I initially got the app to help create loyalty among my customers. It not only did that, but gave me valuable insight into my customer base with frequent new features and awesome support staff. It increased my abandoned cart recovery rate from +- 6% (average over 6 months) to 30% once I turned on the email flow, it helped return lost customers as well with the email flows with clever marketing strategies. To top it all off the pricing structure is more than reasonable for the return on investment.

I can highly recommend this app, it's a must have, it has already paid for itself in the last 7 months.

It was quite a jump in cost from our previous loyalty app. To be honest I would not have switched if they hadn't purchased the old app. We are a small business so this app, cost wise is a very heavy lift for us, so it needed to really perform.

So far it has replaced 2 paid apps and I see it replacing at least 1 more in a month or so; at the same time, the Marsello app offers more accessible targeted customer data. After the last app is replaced we will be even on our investment (budget balanced) plus I believe Marsello will allow us to better serve our customers than the 3 combined apps it is replacing.

The implementation had some rough patches but they never gave up until the issues were resolved. I have asked for some improvements to be added in the future and with their work history, I believe at some point I will see them.

The timing for this switch wasn't at an advantageous time for us, the initial investment for us was steep and implementation was a bit rough. With all of that said working with this company may have been one of the best moves I have made for our business. Stay tuned and I will keep you updated.

We have been using this app for a few months to manage our rewards program and send out emails for abandoned carts and lapsed customers. So far it has worked really well. The emails looks great as you can edit them to look and say what you want.
