Hi there, i just install the app at shopify and I have a question. I ready FAQ but I didn't find any email to contact for support, so I will place my question here. If I have 80 product in shopify inventory of a product A. This product needs raw material B and C to be made. I add these raw materials, B for example 40 items and C material 60 items. When I will press sync, shopify will have a total to 40 pieces of product A, or will have 80+40 = 120 pieces?

This app has been perfect for us. We sell loose-leaf teas and loose coffee and so having an inventory system that can keep track of one large number while we sell smaller bags from that amount is critical for our business. Tarek who helped us get set up is very patient and helped us work through the complexity of our inventory including blending teas accurately. I recommend this for anyone who has inventory that needs more than what Shopify offers.

With multiple products consuming multiple raw materials, it was getting hard to keep track of my inventory manually. I knew of enterprise level inventory management tools but those are expensive. This app was the solution perfect for a small business like mine.
I set it up so that every time I add products to inventory, it draws down the balance of the raw materials required to make that product. Then I get an email when my raw materials drop below a preset threshold.
The customer service is great. I always think of new features when I'm using the product and click the chat button and make the suggestions. They always respond almost immediately to tell me the feature exists or say the will work on it. Amazing support and an amazin app getting better every day.

After spending 8 hours straight trying to find a video, article, app, anything! to sort my shop out I finally came across this lovely app and I'm so relieved that I don't have to find a workaround for my customisable item after all. The app is also a little addictive, makes you feel super organised! Super support also, 10 stars +

Such a good app! Was struggling for so long managing my stock, where I make brackets with multiple parts, was constantly selling products that were out of stock. Tarek is also super helpful!

I had been searching for a solution for my made to order children's clothing and couldn't find anything that quite fit what I needed. I stumbled upon My Materials a few weeks ago, and I was so excited to discover that it tracked my fabric inventory and pulled from my raw materials, all integrated within my Shopify store! I don't worry about overselling now, as it calculates exactly how many of an item I can create with my raw materials. It is saving me so much time and headache. I highly recommend for other small shop clothing manufacturers. Thank you!!

Materials Inventory has allowed us to remove several apps that we used as "workarounds" as a cost-effective inventory management and reports solution.
The setup was easy with their spreadsheet templates provided for uploading bulk data. Once set up, everything was tracked, priced, and in order!
Our supplier info is recorded and the ability to track raw materials/components that are used across multiple products is brilliant.
The UX is basic, but this is a functional, cost-effective inventory solution for small-medium manufacturing businesses that exceeds my expectations!

Excellent app, excellent service, highly recommended!! We manufacture our own product and sell it in various bundles, and I'd been looking for an app like this for a long time. We needed a reasonably priced app that could track inventory of our master components -- a seemingly simple idea, and this app was the only one that could do exactly what we wanted. There were a few tweaks that we needed, and tech support very quickly accommodated us.

· Keeps track of raw materials that are used in varying amounts on different products.
· You can set up email warnings when stock runs low.
· Excellent customer service.
· You can see at a glance the value of the raw materials you are holding. · I was very relieved to find this app as Shopify’s inventory support isn’t advanced enough for what I need. ReadyPantry allows me to keep track of fabric lines even though I use the same fabric in varying different amounts on different products. It takes account of all product sales using a particular product and you can setup an email warning for when that material is low. Takes the guesswork and/or the pain of regular stocktaking away. If you are already running a business and have lots of products & raw materials there is a bulk upload option using a spreadsheet. Personal tip – if you’re using a mac don’t bother using the ‘Numbers’ app for the upload – it’s just not functional enough – GoogleDocs is far better and much closer in functionality to Excel. Customer service is excellent – they respond quickly, are extremely helpful and take suggestions on board. I've only been using it a week and already a number of my asks have been added.
I can finally think about going live :-)

This app is great for tracking how much product/raw materials you have on hand. It helps you figure out when you need to reorder and will notify you when the time comes. This is a must have app if you make the products you sell, must order materials/products in advance, or move a decent amount of products and need to establish a good flow.
