Great app and great support from the team. Helped us do all those little things that cannot be done easily in Shopify.
When a task was not on the list the team created one for us in 24 hours. This is a must-have application for all Shopify owners.
Cannot recommend enough.
It's been great to do some minor things without need for a backend. Since we actually have 4 separate Shopify stores, it will probably be inevitable that I eventually connect all our separate instances to a unified backend to ease maintenance overheads, but using Mechanic has saved me some time and priorities to get up and running quickly and to figure out the additional business logic we need.
Help and support was also exceptional. Super friendly and approachable, they have a Slack channel where I've learnt more about how to use the plugin and see others' inquiries and solutions.
I am more than impressed with each automation in Mechanic. If there is an automation that is a little beyond your ability, the community and support are there to help you along the way.
The Mechanic app is an impressive piece of software. The developers have built a framework on top of Shopify's events that allows for efficient and creative automations. The support team is also amazing, they are quick to respond and always helpful.
My organization started the transition to Mechanic a few weeks ago when we required a new tax receipt app. The transition was seamless thanks to their support team. They patiently addressed all my questions, provided swift fixes, and made the process incredibly smooth. Even in just a couple of weeks, the app has proven to be efficient and reliable for managing receipts. Highly recommended for its user-friendly experience and great customer service.
This app is super helpful, filling all the holes left open by shopify. Basic things that you think you should be able to do easily, but can't on shopify, Mechanic has a task for that.
This application is truly amazing! The possibilities it offers are limitless. We rely on a third-party application to manage our stock, products, and locations, but it only imports the basic information like titles, descriptions, and images. With Mechanic, I can effortlessly automate the application of metafields, update titles and descriptions, and add custom tags, streamlining the entire process. The functionality it provides is remarkable. Moreover, the support and documentation are both professional and user-friendly, making it even more valuable. I highly recommend this app!
super powerful app that we use for various repetitive tasks to keep our backend organized, e.g. we used a preorder app before and it was a nightmare going back and forth adding/removing tags in shopify + toggling products on/off within the app itself! thanks to mechanic's flexibility in creating tasks we could cancel various other apps and safe money. highly recommended!
There are a couple of apps I, as a developer, recommend for every Shopify store. OrderlyEmails is one of them. And now, Mechanic is another one of them.
Mechanic exists to automate your chores and improve workflows. Do you need a nightly report of products that went out of stock? Or maybe you want an immediate notification when a staff (or you!) created a free product on your website? Maybe you want to know if products are missing images. Or for us, how we wanted to know the tally of orders marked with a specific date and 'Pickup Order' so we could judge how many orders are for pickup everyday. Or another favourite -- how much of each product do I need to fulfill all my pending orders?
The possibilities are limitless with Mechanic, and the best part is -- all of the above which would've been separate apps, come under one beautiful app which does exactly what you want to do without fiddling with anything.
This app is wonderful on its own with its several hundred built-in tasks. The app is on steroids if you have a developer who will write custom tasks for you. I cannot wait to see where this app goes.

I use Mechanic to do TONS of different tasks. Simple things like sending out emails when new customers sign up at my store or sending out customized emails when orders are placed. Also advanced things like auto populating customer information (notes, tags, shipping addresses, etc.) based off of selections made during the customer registration process. Copying notes and tags from customer records to the orders those customers place. And more!
Issac is probably one of the best things about this app. He is always there to answer questions, or help me write a custom task to accomplish what I'm trying to do. Customer support is out of this world!!
Great app, great support, would give 10 starts if possible.
