Mechanic

Amazing app that's got a great library. As a small store owner it's helped with some small but important tasks. I'd imagine if I knew more about coding the possibilities would be endless.

We have Mechanic on our website and it felt like having a virtual assistant working for you 24/7 without complaining to do the same task over and over again. Not only it cut down a lot of costs, it is also upgradeable with more tasks. Thanks, man, your app makes my day

This app is AMAZING! I could never go back to using Shopify without it, and I am not a Shopify developer really I just know a little C++ and Python. My company uses Mechanic to automatically print orders, add free gifts to orders as part of promotions, automatically update our iContact mailing lists with Shopify customers... the use cases are endless! And the team at Lightward is soooo helpful, they are quick to respond to requests and always provide ample information and development support. Developers: GET IN THE SLACK CHANNEL! It's awesome how much help you can get and how friendly people are. I was reluctant to do it because I'm clueless when it comes to Liquid, but being in there earlier would have saved me tons of time and they are really really nice to beginners. Just give it a shot, you'll love it!

5/5 great app. Replaces many apps I was testing/using, and makes other apps work better. My specific use case is standardizing product tagging to improve search and filtering. Nothing matched Mechanic's flexibility and ease of use. One thing, this app's full potential is realized by using Liquid scripts to create tasks. There's a learning curve, but it's worth it. The customer service is top notch too.

Mechanic is amazing and very powerful. Isaac provides amazing support and is always there to help. He's written quite a few tasks to start off with, and he's offered to write one specifically for my use case but if you have any sort of experience in programming writing your own tasks is a breeze and has amazing potential. I can't recommend this enough if you're looking to automate anything and it seems like none of the apps on the market were made for what you're trying to do.

Best App for Shopify! It saved me a lot of money for custom Apps. With this app I was able to create all features, which I needed for my shop. I created a custom booking platform with all the automated email flows and in addition to that I was able to build an exclusive trainer backend on my shopify page, to get my trainers the possibility to check all the relevant information for their courses and create new courses on their own without accessing the shopify backend and seeing all the numbers and data.

Even if you are not that gifted with the best programming skills it is possible to reach your goals. If there are any problems you have the documentation, the best support I ever experienced and the big as forum, in which i also always got an answer or at least very good tips for my problems. Dont hesitate to reach out for them!

This is an extremely well designed app that gives you tremendous functionality. Some of the extensions they have added to Liquid to help you write tasks are so valuable - hash, array, cache, parse_jason - I wish they would be added to core Shopify Liquid! The documentation is extensive and Isaac is extremely responsive. Tasks that I expected I would have to automate outside Shopify using serverless AWS are now all implemented inside Mechanic - making my life much easier.

This app is more than amazing. If you have an idea of what you want to implement in your shop, this app can do it. And very easy to use!

Having a slack channel for support is brilliant and adds the support from the community at the same time.

Useful! Great app tu automate and to integrate with Shopify Flow. Fills-in the needs we have. We neeed to send an email to our customers based on different reasonings and this is possible, thanks to Mechanic. Also we like the ability to tag orders/customers automatically which helps us create flows in Klaviyo. I think we are using 10% of this tool, but we are looking forward to use it more every day. A big thank you also to the team that is always available =)
