We have updated our Metafield Lite App so can you please uninstall it first and then re-install it?
It will work fine now.

Doesn't work. Receive error every time we try using the app to even view metafields.

Good app. But used once, relaunch the app keep showing 500 | Server Error, without knowing what issue.
