Does what it says, and great customer service!
Would recommend for anyone.
Metafields Manager helped us solve some of Shopify's native restrictions and we were able to implement a reasonable solution to our store needs.
The app developer offered excellent and comprehensive customer support and was always prompt to answer any questions.
We highly recommend.
Works okay, but clunky! I went to add a metafield and it gave me a dropdown list to select the type, but when I selected 'product', it gave me a list of every item in my store alphabetically. Given there are almost thousand different products in our store, this was a little difficult to navigate! Ended up uninstalling it because I'm not going to click through page after page trying to find the product I needed to edit.
Thanks for the feedback. We made the decision to take full use of Shopify's built-in search since it's simpler and less to learn. What we recommend is to find your product like you normally would within Shopify and then click "More actions" -> "Add Metafields to Product". This will redirect you to the Metafields Manager dashboard for that product so theres no need to search within the app. We did this to keep things as simple and "native feeling" as possible for our customers (it also scales really well for sites with a lot of products like yours). Please reach out if you have any other feedback, we're always looking to make the app better!
Jason from Support was really helpful with setting a fairly custom solution up on my page, where the data was retrieved from Metafields Manager. Great plugin. The only feedback is that the UI feels a bit outdated, and in the beginning, you have to get used to it. I did plenty of wrong clicking in the beginning.
I used this app to help me pull variants by themselves into different collections and it worked like a charm. I did lean on the support team here a bit but they were great and were able to help me get everything set up and were super helpful and patient with me when my brain misfired on sorting a page. 10 out of 10 , would reccomend.

I wish this form let us give even more than 5 stars: 10 stars, 100 stars!, We love Metafields Manager! It solves a big problem: Shopify does not offer very many fields. We use Metafield Manager on all our sites to give us more fields for products and collections, including ones we use to control styling of certain pages, to feed drop-down menus, and you name it. Further, the support is awesome. Thank you, Jason!
Hands down the best metafields app, particularly for large inventory shop migrations. As far as I know it's the only metafields app that can bulk upload metafield values. For a shop with hundreds of products, you can probably guess how helpful this is. Now I'm a little spoiled. Jason also gives such great support!
Other entrepreneurs always ask me how I created such a feature-rich store on Shopify; the answer is simple, with Metafields Manager. Our developers were able to develop all our extra features with no trouble at all. Plus, we get to manage it all from the Shopify Admin making maintenance a breeze and keeping everything simple.
Because of Metafields Manager we got to have our cake and eat it too. By leveraging the power of metafields we didn't have to put any additional work into developing an extra server. The monthly maintenance costs alone paid for the app from day one.
If you're looking to stand out by owning a medium to complex store, then I can't recommend the Metafields App enough.
