We use metafields extensively in our theme. This app makes it easy and convenient to manage that data. For example, we use metafield data to communicate lead times for out-of-stock products. Basically, we wouldn't be able to carry the large assortment of personalized products that we do without this app. Straight forward and easy to use once you understand the advantage of utilizing metafields.

Love this app. Initially tried the non-paid version but this version has some nice features that make it worth it in my opinion. This version of the app makes it easier to find and switch between products when you have many products to update. The import/export features are also a huge time-saver.

I tried a few Metafields apps, starting with the cheapest and working my way up...I've now been using this app off and on for a few weeks and, while its output format isn't the best (one row per product per metafield, rather than columns), it's perfectly workable for someone with Excel skills and I find it rather good!
Apart from the bulk export and import facilities (more of that in a minute), ...

The app works great and the new version has an easy interface. With some creativity you can do tons of customizations in your store with the metafields. In our case we add some custom fields for books information and adapted our templates to display these informations in a proper manner.
