It's disappointing to encounter a situation where you're advised to use custom CSS to address an issue, only to discover that it's a paid feature.
Sorry to hear that you experienced some problems with the app.
We understand your frustration and apologize for the poor way we communicated the free plan's limitations.
For any of our plans, including the free plan, you can still add custom CSS directly to your theme, just not with the app's built in editor.
If you'd like to give us another chance, our support team would be glad to take a look too see if we can help with any issues or bugs you run into.

Don't use. There's just some big weird line that goes across the bottom of the menu that looks horrible on my site. Secondly, it's just really buggy. Every time someone goes to a new page the menu glitches back to my original themes menu and it just looks awful. Wouldn't recommend at all, and for $8 a month they lack templates.

It does look like you are currently on the Meteor free plan, so you only have access to 2 of our 9 templates. If there is something specific that our current templates do not support, we always appreciate the feedback so we can continue improving.
Please add Menu Media refresh option. So Changed information on Shopify applies to the Meteor Mega Menu. Been struggling the past 12 hours. Please add thet add that function. Thanks

Unfortunately, we are unable to sync changes from your store’s navigation to our app because Shopify doesn’t provide a way for developers to accomplish this (a navigation API).
Looks like our support team has already been in touch to help you get this solved. However, instead of syncing changes from Shopify, we provide a menu editor directly in the app for you to manage and update the content of the app’s menus.
PS: Our normal business hours of 8am - 4pm PT Monday - Friday.
Great App and the response to solving an issue I had was first class. The issue wasn't their fault too, it was an issue with the template I was using and they solved it anyway! Very impressed with the service and App. Easy to use, works well and isn't expensive for what extra visual impact it provides. Thanks guys.

The app itself seems to be nicely working with Dawn theme. However, we cannot afford the 8 USD / Month Pro plan at the moment since we are a startup. Thus, unfortunately, we have to deinstall the app again.

Looks like you still have 6 days left in your free trial, so you can still uninstall the app without incurring a charge.
Alternatively, feel free to use the free templates, and upgrade to the $8 tier when you can afford it. If you do, I hope your $8 investment pays off quickly as it does for many thousands of our other Shopify Merchants.

Probably the only good menu app on the entire Shopify app store and trust me I've tried almost all of them. 90% are copycats of one another. Meteor Mega Menu is the only app I've found which actually allows dynamic previews of collections inside the menu itself. If you're looking for a menu app, save your time and go with this one. Support is fantastic too.

Excellent! Menus look cleaner than other comparable solutions, i ve tried some out before I came across Meteor. Im quite happy with it. Also, I got some special request to customise it a bit more and someone looked at my code and did it for me. Nice customer support!

But like another comment, if you want to get the fast response, you need to write here not by email. That's why I do not give 5 stars.
Hi again 👋 we still don't have any record of you reaching out from your shop email. It's possible your message got caught by a spam filter, but we looked and couldn't find it.
Using the app's chat widget is a guaranteed way to get in touch with us; you'll get a response within 24 hours M-F (and usually much faster than that) 😊
These guys were so fast to respond! They were really helpful, and their mega menus are so smooth, so fast.

Desktop preview is ok but this is not working on mobile preview. In mobile I can not open sub menu bar.

Simple, powerful, quick support when needed. Uses current Shopify menu structure from your store. Do not have to create a separate menu structure like other menu apps require.

I tried to use this app for a week and consistently had issues with images populating and collections showing up. No matter what I did nothing worked. The app wouldn't update, and photos wouldn't show up either. It's a shame the menus also aren't customizable. I am so upset because this is one of the few apps that use the font that is on your website locally. I wish they had a customer service support that is over voice because the message support just isn't enough.
I'm so sorry for the disappointing experience. The menus are actually quite customizable, and our team is standing by to help you implement your vision once we receive some more information from you. :)

Absolutely Beautiful App. Easy to use, instantly added momentum to my store sales. Highly recommend, check out our menus bajatiki.com, still on free trial, we plan on keeping the premium subscription, worth it. Have to reiterate, very easy to set up, and looks great in design.

The customer service sucks and they just send you links to follow, not help. The app downloads categories, otherwise it is terrible. Spend hours to learn a system that you pay them a monthly fee for. They can at least attach it to your site and make sure it works for you ... before you get so mad and delete them again and think I don't need your service.

With Meteor, all of the mega menu content is controlled by the navigation menus you've configured in Shopify, so if you want to change the categories (aka collections) or products shown in a mega menu, then you would need to edit menu items using the navigation settings in Shopify admin.

This is a wonderful app with lots of great features. It also has lots of flexibility giving you the opportunity to change the layouts of your menus whenever you want. I had a few questions for the support team with fine tuning the menu to better suit my theme and they were so helpful and supportive. Can't recommend this app and their customer support enough. Would've given more than five stars if possible.

cant do much of anything without premium. could not get basic free menus to import into my theme properly, not going to pay to find out implementation won't work.

The Menu gives our site the much-needed pop it needed to grab our customers attention. The app is incredibly easy to use and highly customizable. Katelyn from support was incredibly helpful as we initially had some issues installing this on our custom theme, but she had it installed within a few hours after finding the issue almost immediately. I would definitely recommend this app if you're looking for a Mega Menu for your store.

Didnt work for me when I would publish my changes, very frustrating & dont recommend. Worked with this one app for hours but every time, my published changes would not apply.

Our app is designed to work with most Shopify themes automatically, but some Shopify themes have unique code markup that may require some additional settings in the app to be configured.

We've been using this app for a while now and it has performed beautifully. We especially love the granular customization that allows you to achieve virtually any aesthetic you wish.

However, the $14 price point is a bit pricey, despite the experience being provided to me being priceless, due to the ongoing world crisis I'd appreciate a cheaper option as I'm only using one menu item.
