WARNING! Do not think that the ridiculous amount of money that Microsoft will charge you to run ads, will be used to advertise your store! Even if you type in your full websites URL address, your store probably wont show up, and now they have added a nice little pop when people are about to purchase a product on your store, showing cheaper priced deals at competitors stores...get this.. your suppliers sites, such as; DH GATE, Aliexpress etc. DISGUSTING AND DIRTY!! I am immediately uninstalling anything Microsoft, and warning all the small business owners I know of this shady business. I am in shock how deceiving Microsoft has become.

As many other businesses Microsoft suspended our AD account 10 minutes after we created it. They gave no reason and when we contacted support they said the decision is final and they cannot give a reason. It is funny because we have verified accounts on almost all other platforms, Google, FB, Tiktok, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest and run ads and sell on these platforms It seems like they have a very biased AI that just suspends account and they have no recourse. Even emails sent to support come up with an auto response that Account is suspended but they cannot tell the reason.

The app does not automatically pull in the Brand or GTIN for each product from the information contained in Shopify. Microsoft Merchant Center then rejects the feed as the products do not contain Brand or GTIN. This essentially makes the app worthless as I have over 1000+ products and cannot manually add a brand and GTIN to each product one at a time.

*UPDATE* 4/26 Continued refusal to escalate from "John"

*UPDATE* 4/14 Additional canned responses but no resolution or indication that the issue has been escalated.

*UPDATE* 4/11 Additional rude response from "John" No response from msftadsappsupport@microsoft.com Ya think they just post canned responses here?

*UPDATE* 4/10 Canned response from "John" saying they performed a review and the account would remain suspended. No. They performed NO review. No contact with us was made to verify any information.

*UPDATE* 4/8 Still no response from Microsoft. Notice that many of the positive reviews below are from people that review immediately after install but before the approval process.

Clunky signup process that creates an irrelevant ad campaign before you can start.

Then a useless review process that denies your account with no reason given and no support to solve the problem.

Don't waste your time and money. Google isn't much better but at least you can get a campaign running in a couple hours.

This is the worst experience I've had with an app on Shopify, after two weeks of back and forth I still couldn't get my account setup and then I was told I couldn't advertise with on MS Ads (no reason given), the customer service was horrible. Do yourself a favor and don't waste time with this one, Use Google Ads.

Terrible and useless. Suspended my account just as I was setting up payment, then closed it permanently without given reason to even rectify the issue. Just stick with google ads.

no way to complete the setup via shopify. cannot set target country or default language. at present it is useless

However, you can get set up with Microsoft Shopping campaigns here: https://about.ads.microsoft.com/en-us/solutions/ad-products/shopping-campaigns.

We have since limited the availability of the app to just U.S. and Canadian markets. We are hoping to expand the app into all Microsoft Shopping campaign eligible markets in the near future. Without any reason they suspend my account and block my email. A legitime store with all the permit from the government. Talk with customer services and they can give me a answer.

I would do less than 1 star if possible! My store got banned and flagged for high risk and no one will explain to me what is high risk about my store because according to the "support" team they say it's confidential... it's my store and my account, I verified my information just to be told that they can't tell me whats wrong or how to fix the issue! Complete useless and its sad that they can't even provide real information or at least give a phone number to talk to a REAL person and get an explainnation on the real problem for why they banned your store 1 hour after creating an account!
This was a complete waste of my time and energy that I could have been using for a company that actually help and care for their customers.
