I was hoping to run ads on Microsoft. In fact, I was excited to reach millions of potential customers.
It's been almost two weeks. I've spoken with numerous Microsoft support staff and my account is still locks and the account is still being verified.
I've submitted all the required documents, multiple times. I've asked for the documents to be reviewed by support to ensure that they are in good order.
Microsoft support, while very professional and polite, can only recite policy back to me. It's interesting. I can copy the policy into a txt doc. upload it into the Microsoft web browser and have it read the policy for me.
I'm confused as to what Microsoft support's job is.
Rather than create a framework that supports my business, Microsoft has created an obstacle course.
Don't count on it.
When setting up an ad account with Microsoft plan for a 3 to 5 day account verification process.
In addition, you might get your account banned on the day you set up your account, for apparently no reason. In order to get unblocked, you must wait an additional 7 to 10 days.
It appears that most people have a smoother onboarding. Just be aware that things can go sideways.
when setting up an account you get a marketing strategist that helps you out. In my case I need an account manager to unblock me.

When I click connect on this section "Connect a Microsoft Advertising Account" it is not going through, it just buffers and doesnt do anything

I need to update this review. The App cannot even open in my Shop channel, I cannot get ANYONE to answer any questions, and it does not look like this app even works at all.

Cannot Connect Microsoft Account, It wont send the code to my email address to sign in.

I wish I can give 0 to this channel. none sense!! greedy !!! they offer the free listing tab, and when i click on it, I don't see my products. this channel is strange and useless. what a shame

It says theres an issue, when i try to click on the link to solve it and every time it says it bugs to a blank page

Does not work. It tells you to login with the account you just used to log in. It repeats forever and you cannot ever fix it.

Update: I have now spent several hours appealing and calling support. They don't have any real people that work in the department. I would watch out for this app because they are taking a copy of your entire product catalog before they have even verified the account, and in my case they will not even get me a person to talk to. I feel like my data has been stolen from me and there is no one to talk to. I'm not sure what is going on with this app.
I setup everything and followed the directions exactly. Right after the account is setup I get an email saying the account is suspended and blocked for unusual activity... This is before I have even done anything at all other than to add a credit card to the account. It says that 1,000 plus variants are submitted and pending but if I click on anything in the account it says my access is blocked. I submitted some kind of appeal not sure what it was where it asked for my business documents. I get a response from support suggesting it will take 10 business days. This is just a time waster. Use Google Shopping and don't waste your time. The support wasted another 20 minutes without any result or changes. I will update my review if and when I can get the products to show up. I have no idea why they would do this when I followed the directions each step exactly! I also had a personal merchant account that I can access under my account without any problems. I am a shopify store with your Microsoft app... what in the world is the problem?
