SHAME ON MINTA. I'VE HAD THIS FOR 7YRS. $55 MONTHLY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORSE. TECH. SUPPORT DOESN'T COME THRU W/ 24 HRS FOR HELP. & CHECK WHAT'S GOING ON? THE SUPERVISOR VERY UNPROFESSIONAL HE TURNED OFF MY CHAT BUTTON. I PAY FOR A SERVICE & DO ALL THE WORK. HE ALSO TOLD ME TAKE MY CAPS OFF, WHEN MESSAGING HIM. I HAVE ALL THE PROOF & EMAILS TO BACK IT UP. DON'T WANT REFUND, JUST MY MINTA APP FIXED.
FOR A LOYAL CUSTOMER & A PAYING CUSTOMER I DESERVE RESPECT, I DESERVE FOR MY APP. TO BE RESEARCHED & FIND THE BUG & DEBUG. I WENT TO SHOPIFY ABOUT THIS MINTA APP. ALSO & LEF IT ALONE & CLOSED THE CASE. I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER. NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHAT I'VE DONE TO DESERVE THIS TREATMENT.

Response time is very slow. It takes hours just for a simple response. Not sure if anyone works there. Still waiting on a response from earlier in the day. I pay to download videos and they do not fully download after clearing cache. I was also informed that I could still be charged for a video download even if it does not download the entire video. It’s been 3 days and my issue has not been resolved. They keep asking me to download and screenshot the same information. I am spending to much time trying to resolve my issue and not working and running my business.

I’ve always liked Minta’s concept and product when it works—but the platform has been plagued by persistent technical issues. A recent app update broke auto-posting and locked me out of my account settings. Reconnecting my social accounts led to an endless loop prompting me to repurchase a plan I had already paid for.
Initially, support responses were slow and confusing, and the development team's promised fixes never materialized.
To their credit, after I left my original review, Minta’s Customer Care Supervisor reached out directly and is taking earnest steps toward resolution. I appreciate the gesture—it shows they’re making a genuine effort to set things right.
However, the fact that it took so long to escalate and address such a fundamental service lapse remains concerning. Minta has potential, but technical reliability and customer support still need serious improvement.
If they continue to follow through, I’ll consider updating this further.

Great app for those who want to save time editing product promo videos, or those who don't have experience in editing.
Personally, I would like to have more options of customisation of specific elements (that's just my own need for control), but I understand that the goal of the app is to work quickly within the set up colour scheme.
When I encountered problems with my subscription, Avraham was a big help in solving the issue.

I truly enjoy it! It’s a really good app, it simply needs to work better on a mobile device like an iPad. Many of us are work on the go and a laptop is not as convenient as a mobile device.

Nice App. Overall customer support from Shafta and Riya was amazing.I really enjoy the fact that I can promote my discounts through the logo and promotion in the brand kit. The music choices are my favorites and the templates are very professional. I only wish we could add unlimited text when creating the video s. Otherwise Minta is the best option for small businesses on a budget which is why I changed my review from 4 to 5 stars.

Best app I found, it does all the work for you.
Good app for auto social media posting. I have been using it in another store, and it worked well. Unlike other apps, this app allows you to chat with their customer service if you are on a free subscription. Customer service Rep Alex was very helpful.
Charges continue even if unused – be careful!
This has been the most unreasonable experience I've had with any Shopify app so far. Even though I wasn’t actively using the app, I was still charged $5 every month. The support team explained that if you don’t want to use the app after the 7-day trial, you must uninstall it from your store. I want to emphasize this clearly: Unless you remove the app from your store, the subscription fee will continue to be charged. Simply removing your payment information inside the app is not enough. I've never encountered such a system with any other app I’ve downloaded from the Shopify App Store. New users should definitely be cautious.
Hi - sorry to hear this. Our Minta app uses Shopify's native billing system, which means charges continue unless the app is uninstalled via your Shopify admin.
Removing card info in the app doesn’t stop charges - only uninstalling does, which - while standard practice across all Shopify apps - is explained clearly in our help articles and via support, if you'd reached out. Payment is not made from you to us, it is made to Shopify and then to us - so Shopify see the app is installed and you will be charged according to the plan you are signed up to.
