Beware of Modalyst. Their vendors do not follow guidelines & include their own information inside of the package, with pricing! I placed a test order from one of their US-based vendors who is considered an Independent Brand, and who offers returns. Modalyst guarantees that Independent Brands will blind ship, but will include an invoice WITHOUT pricing inside, with your store logo.

When the item arrived, this wasn't the case. The item's label was from the vendor, which would be super confusing in the first place if you were the customer thinking you ordered an item from my store, and it comes from another. Then, inside wasn't a nice invoice with my store logo. Instead, it was an invoice WITH PRICING and with all the boutique's information and website. Horrible. On top of that, the sweatshirt was drenched in vinegar and smelled up my whole house.

I requested a return several times from the vendor who supposedly offers returns in 14 days. They NEVER responded to me at all. I then contacted Modalyst and not even their CEO, Jill, has bothered to get back with me. She asked me to send her all the details, but I have followed up with her now a couple times and she went MIA. I even had to try and dispute the charge with my bank, which ultimately didn't work. So now I'm stuck with an item that I should have been able to return, but couldn't due to a shady vendor and no response from Modalyst.

The $30 fee is totally not worth it. The items are way marked up and in order to make any profit, you'd basically have to sell them at higher than retail. Who in their right mind would pay for that as a customer?

This has been a complete disaster and I am very disappointed in the fact that I paid even a cent for membership, as they do not comply with their terms.

Modalyst would be an amazing app if it worked correctly. I've been using them for two months and I've had to refund several orders because the item was out of stock. The "real-time" inventory syncing is really sub-par and rarely ever correct. They've waived my plan fees until June, but I can't keep manually updating hundreds of products every day.

Charges me for example an item on Wish for $72 plus shipping but its selling on its own Wish app for 14 free shipping. Total garbage

My experience with the app is horrible. I received an order and had to refund my customer because I could not order the product from supplier listed in the app. The support understanding of people working for this app is that "did you communicate with the supplier?". I got this response from two different people while trying to order my product. If communication with supplier is my responsibility, what kind of support do you provide over there?

Good concept, love the products. However, the Customer Support Team needs A LOT of work. It is very concerning to watch orders go unprocessed daily, because NO ONE from Modalyst is willing to help trouble shoot errors. There is a real opportunity to make this app great, but customer support is key!

Randomly deletes products all products from your store forcing you to re-add them happen 3 times in one weekend
Prices change all the time and it never notifies you or changes the pricing based on pricing laws
Refuse to reply to emails to help fix issues been 8days nothing
Refund you on items that were available when you purchased them a week later as its no longer available but are still listed on wish

I send this app this message!! It's really disappointing to see more than 100 item just vanished over night shopify is investigating that too. I'm not sure if you understand how hard is to make every item look perfect I have spent so much time and money on them!!! Now is very reasonable for your team to refund at least my last month charges which was withdrawn yesterday.

It seems when a designer moves on it takes all the item from your store. in last 6 month same happed to at least 200 items in my shop

The app seemed to nice, lots of options. But you have zero support! They just don't answer your questions. After leaving them several messages, no one responded. Won't be using this app anymore.

I was using the app and it stopped working and has been frozen. It stated that it was being uninstalled and did not allow me to import products and or sync to Shopify. I contacted support and have not received a response for more than 48 hours. I had a pro plan subscription with no support to resolve issues. Very bad!

Terrible! They don't check their suppliers. I just found out that some suppliers/wholesalers claim that product is made in US but in reality it's made in China, and the cost is way too high for Chinese made goods. Also some suppliers are not selling the products they intend to sell. Modalyst customer service is not very helpful as well. Very disappointed overall.
