this app is amazing, you only pay an annual price of 174 and you have a limit of 5,0000. I think to make this my main dropshipping provided and drop overlap which you pay 29.00 months and not office best quality. So if you looking for a drop shipping, go for this first.

I have now been using it for a few weeks. While the free versions seems to be okay the paid version is just not worth it. Items are very expensive for the quality. Items listed for the name brands are typically the worst for that brand, or they are not being sold by the brand itself, or clearance items. Then here are some other issues everyone should be aware of and I will be posting every issue that I come across. So stay tuned.

1. I selected about 56 handbags from Phive Rivers. It was extremely cumbersome and time consuming to apply tags to products within the Import List. It had to be done item by item, no bulk editing. I was told I could export to CSV file and edit in bulk.
2. So if you look at the drop down menu where it says "Export to CSV" there are a few options. Two of those options are "Shopify File Format" and "Big Commerce File Format". Well common sense says once I use the Shopify format I can upload directly to Shopify and it should work. Wala yes it did. However, nowhere does it say NOW THERE IS NO WAY TO SYNC between Shopify and Modalyst. I spent almost 7 to 8 hours tagging each and every item, editing descriptions, titles you name it. Finally, I had to delete all the items, put them back in the Import List, move them all to Shopify. Then Export them to CSV, re-do everything all over again.

Stay tuned I have more coming as I find time to write. By the way, today I found out Modaylst will not update inventory on Shopify. When inventory is down to zero it says sold out on the product image. So if you want product not to show automatically it cannot be done. You have to remove or hide manually.

I am not trying Oberlo, let's see what happens there.

Update on my previous review. If you use this app, do your due diligence. There are many on here that are not designers, but are suppliers that are listing items from aliexpress. If you want to drop ship from China, you can go direct to aliexpress pay way less, and get free shipping. It's a long process to sort through who is actually a designer, or is offering real designer goods, from those that are re-selling off of a retail site(at a huge markup)

Great app for drop shippers! Its nice to be able to offer products that ship from places other than China. Variety of products and price points is awesome as well!

This app idea is good but it has lot of shortfalls. The vendors keep changing. There is low inventory most of the times. Named brands generally have only 1 -2 items in stock anytime and are only sold at retail price. I have checked it so may times now.

Second this app is high risk if you are just starting. Since fashion apparel industry is very high competition and saturated to the lowest margins.

Selling products of this app becomes more challenging due to three reasons: 1. Inventory is generally low.
2. Pricing is generally retail price + Shipping fee can go as high as $15 + order processing to delivery 20 days average + 5% transaction fee they charge (even when you have paid for year) (you also pay 2%-4% transaction fee to payment provider + 2% to Shopify these bring down your margin ).
3. High risk of you loosing your ad spend - this can be due to the low stock inventory they have. It's my experience.

Also, most vendors always offer out of fashion stuff at high retail price so making a reasonable business out of this app is a tricky one.

Recent update have also ruined how the app used to work before. Now it don't even push products to store and keep showing blank error or say products syncing in process.

Customer care is difficult to get in touch with. It might have potential but Not an app I love any more.

This is a great app check www.maqboutique.co for some great dresses and handicrafts like the beautiful bangle holder and beautiful lace maxi dresses - Some brands are great - The App could be improved to amend currency and shipping rates for a smooth experience but all in all its a fabulous concept and the founders are superb in their customer service always ready to assist. i was promised a 20% discount if i upgrade to their PRO plan and after i subscribed for it they never responded back to me. the guy who was assigned to me is Felix and he never gave me the discount i was promised!
