I've seen great AOV results historically using the Monster cart. I recently had an issue with billing and upgrading onto the V2 version (which offers a much faster cart), but I can say that Ty the founder is a class act and looked after me personally until the issue was fully resolved. I look forward to using Monster for the foreseeable and adding $$$ to my average order value. Cheers team.
Team - Sorry to hear this has been your experience. Just want to clarify some things... V2 is not in beta.. but the migration experience was (although 500+ brands have gone through the process already). This is why we sent some instructions for checking over things before going live. Unfortunately when migrated there was CSS conflict with theme. We have never had this result before. Sorry about this and we will learn from it.
We upgraded you based on the strict times you were informing us to on the friday. Unfortuantely.. as far as i can see the upgrade ended up being done on weekend times when support is away for an hour or so on some days. I hear the frustration here. We will learn from this experience. As for the billing... as per messages we were likely undercharging you for most months using the app.. i believe you would have got a good outcome as per the actions taken to help here. :)
Unfortunately yes.. the migration did not work the perfect way it needed with store clash.. and we will endeavor to work hard at making this work 100%.
Incredibly fast, responsive, and helpful customer service!! I had an issue with a product photo carousel in the slide-out cart on my website, and I contacted Monster Cart’s customer service. Their team got back to me within 10 minutes, requested access to my store, and sorted out the problem instantly. Absolutely fantastic!
The discount calculation is weird and shows up differently in check out. I had so many customers asking. The App has lots of bugs and a very bad support. I moved to Unicorn Cart eventually.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! MonsterApps/Cart and have been using it for the past two years. I highly recommend. I just upgraded to version 2 and know I will love it even more. Their tech support is amazing 10/10 so shout out to them. If you have been considering, wait no further and download them today!!!
I would rate this 10 stars if I could. This is by far the strongest cart upsell app on Shopify right now.
Since implementing it, I have doubled my AOV, and it includes every feature you could need in a serious upsell tool. For a while I was torn between OCU and Monster Cart, but with their latest updates, Monster Cart clearly wins across the board.
Customer support has also been excellent. Fast, reliable, and at one point I even had one of the founders, Ty, personally assisting me.
100/10. If you are looking for an upsell app that genuinely lifts AOV, this is the one to use.
Decent app, but picked up that they are duplicating their charges every month. They charge a monthly fee + usage & a monthly fee again. I reached out to their support 2 weeks ago and keep getting a general response that they've passed on the message to the team leader, but still no response. Can you please refund and fix your charges ASAP? Check your charges on your monthly bill!
Hey team 🥰 This is how Shopify system charges with a base charge plus usage separate. This is in-line with our normal pricing listed in FAQs. Really sorry you received a general response message. This should have been communicated day one. Please read the emails I've sent over past weeks. Id love to have the opportunity to make this into a 5 star response.

Unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with this APP. I contacted multiple times during the few months I had this about the dashboard never working the entire time, so I could never check any data.
I also have just seen I've been charged multiple times for the same period even though its meant to be a monthly fee on the plan I was on and then also after I finally cancelled I have still been charged again yesterday for another month. I can't contact support now that I have uninstalled and shopify said I need to take the charges up with the app.

I've been so impressed with Monster Cart so far - the team are very helpful as well in quickly answering any set-up questions. I really like the added features that Monster cart have that I know don't exist in the other cart apps - Monster Cart for example have in-cart drawer scarcity timers and banner announcements. Fantastic!
